When I first pulled up to 22 6 Sierpnia street, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot in this part of Łódź. The building itself is pretty typical for the area, but once you get inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here.

The thing about staying on 6 Sierpnia is that you’re right in this sweet spot where you can walk to the main shopping areas without dealing with all the tourist chaos – and trust me, parking around Piotrkowska can be a nightmare, so being a bit removed is actually perfect. The apartments themselves have this lived-in comfort that I really appreciate. Nothing feels too precious or hotel-sterile, you know? The kitchenette is actually functional (not just for show like some places), and I mean, when you’re traveling for more than a couple days, being able to make your own coffee in the morning instead of hunting down a café is honestly priceless. The beds are surprisingly comfortable too – I’m picky about mattresses and slept better than I expected.

What really won me over though was how quiet it gets at night. You’d think being in the city center would mean constant noise, but this street actually settles down nicely after evening hours. The staff genuinely seems to know their stuff about the neighborhood – when I asked about getting to Manufaktura, they didn’t just point me toward the obvious tourist route but mentioned the tram line that locals actually use. Small thing, but it matters. The 7.2 rating makes sense to me because while it’s not luxury by any stretch, it delivers exactly what you need without any pretense. There’s reliable WiFi (tested it thoroughly while working), decent water pressure, and honestly, the price point feels fair for what you’re getting. If you’re the type who needs a concierge and room service, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a clean, comfortable base to explore Łódź from – especially if you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two – it’s actually a really solid choice. Just don’t expect to be blown away; expect to be pleasantly satisfied, which sometimes is exactly what you want when you’re traveling.

  What could be improved: From the pictures and description it seemed that it was 1 bedroom and living room. But it was one room with a double sleeping bed and a sofa.
  As well we were late to check out and some lady came and started to speak polish with us. Didn' t speak english:) but as we saw she was pretty mad.

  What could be improved: When you book Royal Style Apartment keep in mind that you can’t choose a flat. On the preview on Booking you can see three apartments with different conditions. We stayed in the flat with a blue sofa and it wasn’t a good experience. Firstly, the flat is located in the arc, not in a entrance, between you and the street will be a wood door with one bad lock. All noises from the street and people are heard. Secondly, you will suffer from drafts and a cold floor. Thirdly, the bed is awful, the old mattress resonates all moves of your partner and you will wake up from every turn. Fourthly, the bathroom has the door-slide and doesn’t have a normal ventilation. Fifthly, a parking place isn’t guaranteed. The parking is intended for locals and can be fully. And to open the parking gates is a quest. And an electric stove sometimes can no work.

  Private parking, easy access to keys and contactless check-in/check-out, location; coffee tea, sugar for the morning.
  All in all, you have everything you need in the apartment for an overnight stay, i.e. bed, shower, towels, equipment for making dinner, breakfast, etc.
  
  What could be improved: Visiting in mid-October, the apartment was quite cold. However, the heater in the bathroom warmed up the bathroom rather quickly. Creaking floors were of a disturbance in the morning, but that goes hand-in-hand with such old houses.
  All in all, the charge of the room is rather fair for the value that you get.

  Apartment itself is beautiful, the building is quite old and is not renovated, looks a bit creepy. Pets were allowed (20 PLN per dog per night). Overall great value for money. Collecting keys was very easy and convenient.
  
  What could be improved: The walls are superthin and you can hear all the noise from other apartments. Parking instructions were a bit unclear, we didn't understand that we have to take the key first and then we can open the courtyard.

  Appreciated easy check-in with instructions sent to the phone upon arrival, spacious studio with lots of daylight, very clean. Equipment is somewhat basic but sufficient and looks nice. Location is great,close to the main street with cafes and restaurants. Loved mural around the corner.
  
  What could be improved: I would appreciate more precise instructions regarding parking as it seems that locals are a bit concerned about parking lots in the backyard.

  Good location. Interesting entrance, you step right in apartment from outdoors. Kitchen is small, but there was everything we needed. There is free parking place for car in the yard.
