The kitchenette actually has everything you need if you want to skip restaurants for a meal or two, and honestly, with a decent grocery store just around the corner, it’s kind of nice to have that option.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stayed at night, even being right on such a busy street. The windows are decent quality, so you get that urban energy during the day but can actually sleep without feeling like you’re camping next to a highway. Check-in was straightforward too – no weird complications or surprise fees, which unfortunately isn’t always a given with these smaller properties. Now, it’s definitely a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble bathrooms or room service, but for what it is, they maintain it well. The Wi-Fi worked without issues (tested it thoroughly during a few video calls), and the heating was solid during my March stay when Łódź was still pretty chilly. I did notice the shower pressure could be better, and there’s no elevator if you end up on a higher floor – just something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with heavy bags or mobility concerns. But here’s why I’d actually recommend it: it feels authentic to the neighborhood without being run-down, the price point makes sense for what you get, and you’re genuinely experiencing Łódź rather than hiding in some sterile hotel bubble. Plus, being centrally located means you can easily walk to the old textile factory areas that have been converted into cultural spaces – the whole reason most people visit this city in the first place.
