I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Manufaktura Deluxe Apartment on Drewnowska, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. The Baluty district isn’t exactly Łódź’s postcard neighborhood, you know? But man, was I wrong about this place. Once you step inside, it’s like someone took a completely different building and plopped it down in the middle of this industrial area. The apartments are genuinely stylish – I’m talking exposed brick details, modern fixtures that actually work, and these huge windows that flood everything with natural light. What really got me was how quiet it stays despite being in such a bustling part of town. I mean, you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the massive Manufaktura shopping center (hence the name, I guess), but somehow the noise just doesn’t carry over.

The location is actually pretty clever when you think about it. Sure, you’re not in Piotrkowska Street with all the tourists, but that’s honestly a good thing most of the time. You’ve got this whole authentic Łódź experience happening around you – there’s a fantastic pierogi place just down the street that locals line up for, and the tram connections are surprisingly good for getting around the city. I stayed here during one of those gray November weeks, and even then the apartment felt warm and inviting. The heating actually works (not always a given in Polish rentals, trust me), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The kitchen setup is proper too – not just some mini-fridge situation, but actual cooking space if you want to hit up the nearby market and make your own meals.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to detail that you don’t usually see in three-star accommodations. The Wi-Fi is fast enough for video calls, the bed linens feel expensive, and – this might sound weird – but the water pressure in the shower is absolutely perfect. These are the things that make or break a stay, especially if you’re dealing with jet lag or long days exploring the city. The fact that they’re pulling a 9.7 rating doesn’t surprise me at all. The owners clearly put thought into what travelers actually need rather than just throwing some generic furniture together and calling it deluxe. If you’re coming to Łódź and want something that feels more like staying at a friend’s really nice apartment rather than a sterile hotel room, this is your spot. Just don’t expect a concierge or room service – but honestly, you won’t miss it.

  Квартира чиста, затишна, всього було достатньо для комфортного перебування сім’ї з двома дорослими та дитиною. Зручне розташування — поруч магазини Жабка та Стокротка, а також недалеко Мануфактура. З господарем не спілкувались напряму, все організовано через сайт Booking — швидко та без проблем. Гарний варіант для зупинки в Лодзі з родиною.

  Гарна, чиста квартира. Ідеально випрана і випрасувана постільна білизна, достатньо посуду, зручне розташування. Пані Анна постійно була на завʼязку і допомогла з усіма питаннями. І головне , що нам було дуже важливо, ми заселились у помешкання раніше вказаного часу. Дякуємо)
