Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Łódź, but Dream Apartments – Apartament Industrialny really caught me off guard – in the best possible way. When I first walked up to Wschodnia 34, I’ll be honest, the building doesn’t scream luxury from the outside. It’s got that classic Polish apartment block vibe, you know? But once you’re inside… well, that’s where the “industrialny” part makes complete sense. They’ve done something really clever with the industrial aesthetic – exposed brick, metal fixtures, but somehow it feels cozy rather than cold.

The apartment itself is spacious (which honestly surprised me for a 3-star place), and you can tell someone actually thought about how people live, not just how things look in photos. The kitchen has proper counter space – I mean, you could actually cook a real meal here if you wanted to, not just heat up instant noodles. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re right in Śródmieście. I was expecting city noise, but Wschodnia is one of those streets that settles down after evening rush hour. The windows are good quality too, which makes a difference when trams are running nearby.

You know what I appreciated most? The little details that show they get what travelers actually need. There’s plenty of outlet space (thank god, because who travels with just one device anymore?), the shower pressure is genuinely good, and the WiFi actually works throughout the whole space – not just in one corner of the living room. Plus, getting around from here is dead easy. You’re walking distance to Piotrkowska Street, which is basically where everything happens in Łódź, but you’re not dealing with the weekend crowds right outside your door. I found myself wandering over to Manufaktura pretty regularly, and it’s maybe a 15-minute walk if you don’t mind the stroll. The area has that perfect mix of residential calm and urban convenience – there’s a decent grocery store just around the corner, and you’ll find some surprisingly good local restaurants within a few blocks that most tourists never discover. Honestly, with a 9.6 rating, I was expecting to find some catch, some reason it wasn’t perfect, but the only minor thing I noticed was that the elevator can be a bit slow during busy times. Small price to pay for an apartment that actually feels like a thoughtfully designed space rather than just another cookie-cutter rental.

Hotel in Lodz booking should be done early, especially during film festival season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cinematography events.
