The location is actually pretty perfect if you want to explore the real Łódź, not just the touristy bits. You’re walking distance from Piotrkowska Street – honestly, about a 10-minute stroll – but far enough away that you’re not dealing with weekend party noise. I mean, Kilińskiego is a proper street with character, lined with those beautiful pre-war buildings that survived everything this city has been through. There’s a decent coffee place just two blocks down (locals know it, tourists usually miss it), and you can catch trams easily from here to get anywhere in the city. The staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood too, which I appreciated – they pointed me toward this little pierogi spot that I never would have found on my own.

The hotel itself feels like someone put real thought into it without trying too hard. It’s got that boutique feel but not in a pretentious way – more like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have good taste. The rooms are comfortable enough for a 3-star, nothing fancy but clean and well-maintained. I stayed during a busy weekend in spring and the place felt lively but not chaotic. Check-in was smooth, the Wi-Fi actually worked (you know how hit-or-miss that can be), and honestly, for the price point, you’re getting solid value. The 7.5 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow you away with luxury, but it delivers on what it promises. If you’re the type who wants to experience Łódź like someone who actually lives here rather than just hitting the main tourist stops, DarkHouse Pink gives you that authentic base without breaking the bank. Plus, there’s something refreshing about a hotel that doesn’t try to hide the city’s industrial soul – it embraces it, and that feels very Łódź to me.

  Plenty off space. Design is interesting for staying one night. Bed was comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: Instructions for entry too complicated. Style interior is interesting but luck attention for details: like hanging wires from audio speakers, laid out bathroom door handle, not clean bathroom glass doors, walls… and there's more… Also parking inside yard was 20pln.

  The flat owner is a really nice person. He gave us permission to experience one of the most beautiful moments in our lives in that flat, my wedding proposal.
  I receive all information one day before, it was Polish language, but it still was very clear for myself how to get the key. Just pay attention to the fact that the key boxes are on the first floor.Everything was clean and nice, Very comfortable flat.
  
  What could be improved: There was a problem with the shower and hot water. The water was either very hot or cold, and the shower didn't work.

  Cool place. Nice view. Do the photos do it justice? You’ll have to wait and see. The elaboration of the Versace style made it a fun place to stay. Interesting lighting system. Multiple TVs. Coffee machine (2 capsules) plus tea. GOOD SERVICE: I was also directed to the entrance by Polkas in the courtyard. When I had an issue with the hot water, they responded quickly with instructions to fix it myself.

  It's different to 'normal' rental apartments – it's very designer themed and very spacious.
  It's in an old building, looks like they are just finishing the stairway and the yard, but it was very pleasant stay.
  
  What could be improved: There was no heating in the bathroom (at the time).
