ADLER Studio Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to ADLER Studio on Nad Jasieniem, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The street’s tucked away in this quiet residential pocket of Łódź, and you know what? That actually turned out to be one of my favorite things about the place. You’re far enough from the city center chaos but close enough that a quick tram ride gets you to Piotrkowska Street in about fifteen minutes.

The building itself has this understated charm – it’s not trying to be flashy or boutique-y, just clean and well-maintained. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (no complicated key card systems that never work), and the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood. When I mentioned I was looking for a decent breakfast spot, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map – he pointed me toward this little café two blocks over that locals frequent. That kind of insider knowledge is gold when you’re traveling.

What really impressed me was how quiet it stays, even though you’re still in the city. The rooms are simple but thoughtfully designed – good lighting for actually reading, decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and honestly, the bed was more comfortable than I expected for a 3-star place. The bathroom’s compact but functional, with water pressure that’s better than some fancy hotels I’ve stayed at. There’s parking available too, which – if you’ve ever tried to park in central Łódź – you’ll appreciate more than you might think. I mean, street parking around here can be a nightmare during weekdays.

The area itself is sort of fascinating if you’re into seeing a different side of Polish cities. Nad Jasieniem runs through this mix of old residential buildings and newer developments, so you get this authentic glimpse of how people actually live here rather than the tourist-polished version. There’s a small grocery store within walking distance, plus a few local restaurants that don’t cater specifically to visitors – always a good sign in my book. The tram connections are solid, and honestly, I found myself enjoying the short rides into the more touristy areas because it gave me time to decompress between sightseeing sessions.

Look, ADLER Studio isn’t going to wow you with marble lobbies or rooftop bars, but that 8.6 rating makes total sense once you stay there. It’s the kind of place that just works – everything functions properly, it’s clean, the location hits that sweet spot between convenient and peaceful, and the value is genuinely good. If you’re the type of traveler who wants a reliable base for exploring Łódź without paying for amenities you won’t use anyway, this place delivers exactly what it promises. Plus, there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels more like a well-run local spot than a generic international chain.

Reviews of ADLER Studio

  • Exceptional – Jacek from Netherlands – August 19, 2025 (10/10)

Jak zawsze profesjonalnie i zgodnie z oczekiwaniami. Do zobaczenia następnym razem

  • For short stay 😉 – Ewa from Ireland – August 13, 2025 (7/10)

Everything was clean and we had everything we needed, there was a hairdryer, nice shower and tv

What could be improved: Opening the doors with the code was quite tricky, touchpad wasn't working properly, that was quite annoying, card would be better, terrace was just a door to the garden which is shared with everyone, no private space in the garden or any fences , view very poor, only grass which wasn't even cut, there was some mould in the toilet

  • Poor – Regimantas from Lithuania – July 21, 2025 (3/10)

What could be improved: Towels and bedding smelly, can't be used. There is no air ventilation, no conditioning in the room, and when you open the window, there is noise because the external air conditioner units are standing near to the window from other rooms, which are constantly buzzing. So what kind of rest can it be? The room number is 001.

  • Exceptional – Andrzej from Poland – July 15, 2025 (10/10)

    Wszystko jest wspaniałe 👍

  • Wonderful – Joana from Lithuania – May 29, 2025 (9/10)

Good plays for a short place, the sofa bed was small but comfortable

What could be improved: Could be cleaner

  • I left the place after one night even though I booked for two nights. – Nikhil from Ireland – May 23, 2025 (3/10)

I don't know what to say. There was a washing machine and there was a kitchen. I didn't use any of that. There was a balcony in the back with good enough view

What could be improved: The sofa bed is absolutely horrible. It has a big dip in the middle. If you love your back avoid it all cost. Also the sofa is jaded and feels like it hasnt been cleaned in eternity. Just touch if your skin will give you an itch and a rash. On top of that their bedsheet was super thin and a bit dusty. As I said you had make sure you didn't touch your bare skin to the sofa. Same goes for the worn out duvet covers. I left the place after one night even though I booked it for two nights. The hosts didn't care much about anything. And refused to give any refund.

  • Fair – Cosmin from Romania – May 19, 2025 (5/10)

What could be improved: The sofa and the bed sheets were dirty

  • Convenient, friendly and fare price stay. Thank you – Olga from Croatia – November 15, 2024 (8/10)

Has everything traveller needs for a short stay.
Pets allowed🥰🙏😘Easy and very convenient way to check in and check out. Immediate response from the host.
Quiet. Parking right in front of the building.

What could be improved: It has almost no isolation on the entrance door to the main common corridor.
In the morning you get to hier everyone who is passing by.

  • Good – Margarita from Lithuania – July 6, 2024 (7/10)

    Non-contact round-the-clock check-in
    Garden
    Absolutely clean room
Good staff in the kitchen including tea, instant coffee, sugar

What could be improved: Too many furniture for such small room, there is no enough space for two (even with dog)
    Cups are extremely inconvenient
The shower passes water into the area with the sink and toilet

  • Fair – Attaa from Germany – June 11, 2024 (5/10)

The beds were not really comfortable. however, the place was new and it’s okey for a night if you are on the road and want to take a shower and sleep for some hours.

What could be improved: Nice garden for smokers. And free parking.
