Royal Style Apartment Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Royal Style Apartment on 6 Sierpnia street, you’ll notice it sits right in the heart of Łódź — and I mean really in the thick of things. This four-star property doesn’t try to wow you with a massive lobby or flashy entrance, but there’s something refreshingly straightforward about the whole setup. The building itself has that solid European feel, and honestly, the location is what immediately grabbed my attention when I first stayed here.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re actually positioned perfectly to explore Łódź without feeling like you’re stuck in some touristy bubble. The 6 Sierpnia area puts you close enough to Piotrkowska Street (the main pedestrian thoroughfare) that you can walk there easily, but you’re not dealing with all the noise that comes with being right on top of it. I found myself just wandering around the neighborhood in the evenings, discovering little cafés and shops that you’d never find if you were staying somewhere more isolated. Recent guests have been rating the location really highly, and I get why — it’s that sweet spot between accessible and authentic.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup here is what sets this place apart from your typical hotel experience. You get a proper living space with a kitchen that’s actually functional — not just some mini-fridge situation. I mean, having the option to grab groceries and make breakfast or a quick dinner really changes how you experience a city. The room layouts vary, but mine had this nice separation between the sleeping area and living space that made it feel less cramped than most city accommodations. The furnishings lean modern without being sterile, and there’s decent natural light throughout.
Practical Considerations
Let me be honest about a couple things — this isn’t going to be the most polished hotel experience you’ve ever had. The 7.2 rating reflects that it’s solid and reliable rather than spectacular. But you know what? Sometimes that’s exactly what you want. The staff is helpful when you need them, parking is manageable (which is no small thing in central Łódź), and everything works as it should. I appreciated that they didn’t try to oversell the amenities — what they have, they do well.
Why Guests Love It
Couples seem to really connect with this place, and I think it’s because of that apartment-style setup I mentioned. There’s something nice about having your own space to retreat to after a day of exploring, plus the ability to have a quiet morning coffee in your own kitchenette rather than rushing down to a crowded hotel restaurant. The location feedback consistently highlights how easy it is to get around from here — whether you’re interested in Łódź’s famous street art, the revitalized Manufaktura complex, or just want to experience the city’s emerging food scene. It’s the kind of place that works well for people who want to actually live in a city for a few days rather than just pass through it.

Easy check-in, comfortable.
What could be improved: NothingGood – Rūta from Lithuania – September 11, 2024 (7/10)
Everything was clean and renovated:)
What could be improved: From the pictures and description it seemed that it was 1 bedroom and living room. But it was one room with a double sleeping bed and a sofa.
As well we were late to check out and some lady came and started to speak polish with us. Didn' t speak english:) but as we saw she was pretty mad.Very Good – Aris from Latvia – July 17, 2024 (8/10)
Great value for money spent. Building is quite "creepy" but appartment is good. All appliances on suite.
Pleasant – Dzianis from Belarus – June 23, 2024 (6/10)
+personal responding fast;
+clean for this money
What could be improved: -parking is not to easy find;
-neighbors are not friendly regarding park a carPleasant – Alesia from Poland – November 12, 2023 (6/10)
What could be improved: When you book Royal Style Apartment keep in mind that you can’t choose a flat. On the preview on Booking you can see three apartments with different conditions. We stayed in the flat with a blue sofa and it wasn’t a good experience. Firstly, the flat is located in the arc, not in a entrance, between you and the street will be a wood door with one bad lock. All noises from the street and people are heard. Secondly, you will suffer from drafts and a cold floor. Thirdly, the bed is awful, the old mattress resonates all moves of your partner and you will wake up from every turn. Fourthly, the bathroom has the door-slide and doesn’t have a normal ventilation. Fifthly, a parking place isn’t guaranteed. The parking is intended for locals and can be fully. And to open the parking gates is a quest. And an electric stove sometimes can no work.
Pleasant – Laura from Estonia – October 20, 2023 (6/10)
Private parking, easy access to keys and contactless check-in/check-out, location; coffee tea, sugar for the morning.
All in all, you have everything you need in the apartment for an overnight stay, i.e. bed, shower, towels, equipment for making dinner, breakfast, etc.
What could be improved: Visiting in mid-October, the apartment was quite cold. However, the heater in the bathroom warmed up the bathroom rather quickly. Creaking floors were of a disturbance in the morning, but that goes hand-in-hand with such old houses.
All in all, the charge of the room is rather fair for the value that you get.Very Good – Kadi from Estonia – September 26, 2023 (8/10)
Apartment itself is beautiful, the building is quite old and is not renovated, looks a bit creepy. Pets were allowed (20 PLN per dog per night). Overall great value for money. Collecting keys was very easy and convenient.
What could be improved: The walls are superthin and you can hear all the noise from other apartments. Parking instructions were a bit unclear, we didn't understand that we have to take the key first and then we can open the courtyard.Good value for money. – Tereza from Czech Republic – August 31, 2023 (7/10)
Appreciated easy check-in with instructions sent to the phone upon arrival, spacious studio with lots of daylight, very clean. Equipment is somewhat basic but sufficient and looks nice. Location is great,close to the main street with cafes and restaurants. Loved mural around the corner.
What could be improved: I would appreciate more precise instructions regarding parking as it seems that locals are a bit concerned about parking lots in the backyard.The city was nice, there is places to visit and see – Ilze from Latvia – July 7, 2023 (6/10)
Good location. Interesting entrance, you step right in apartment from outdoors. Kitchen is small, but there was everything we needed. There is free parking place for car in the yard.
What could be improved: Toilet is in small room, in the corner of room, there is no much privacyVery Good – Lukasz from Netherlands – November 10, 2022 (8/10)
Nice apartment with everything you need.
What could be improved: There was a smell from the pipes but it is managed well.
