The thing about Złota 9 is that you’re basically in the sweet spot of central Łódź without all the chaos. I mean, you can walk to Piotrkowska Street (the main pedestrian drag where all the action happens) in maybe ten minutes, but you’re tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with late-night revelers stumbling past your window. The building itself has this sort of modern renovation vibe – they’ve clearly put thought into making a older structure feel fresh without going overboard with trendy nonsense that’ll look dated in two years. Check-in was surprisingly smooth, actually – the staff spoke solid English and seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions.

What really struck me about the rooms was the attention to practical details that frequent travelers actually care about. The beds are properly comfortable (not those rock-hard European mattresses you sometimes get), there’s decent lighting for actually reading or working, and – this might sound small but it matters – the shower has proper water pressure. The design leans contemporary without being sterile, with these nice touches like quality linens and thoughtful storage space. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of Łódź, but they’ve got options sorted, which honestly saves you a massive headache if you’re driving. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet after evening hours, so if you’re a light sleeper, you’ll appreciate that. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period (there was some conference happening in town), and even then the common areas never felt cramped or chaotic.

Here’s what I think makes this place work – it’s clearly run by people who understand that business travelers and tourists want the same basic things: comfort, reliability, and to not feel like they’re overpaying for location. The 8.7 rating honestly makes sense when you experience it firsthand. It’s not trying to be a luxury destination hotel, but it nails the fundamentals really well. If you’re exploring Łódź’s surprisingly vibrant arts scene or here for work, you’ll find yourself coming back to a place that just… works. Plus, being on Złota means you’re close enough to grab coffee at some of the better local spots in the morning, but far enough from the tourist traps that you feel like you’re getting a more authentic taste of the city.

  Mieszkanie czyste i dokładnie takie jak ukazano na zdjęciach. Niestety kolosalnym problemem są drzwi wejściowe. Niemożliwością jest otworzyć je przez kobietę. Trzeba szarpnąć z taką siłą i hukiem, że głupio było nam przed sąsiadami, bo generowało to taki hałas. Cała reszta jak na pobyt 4 dniowy bardzo fajnie.
  
  What could be improved: Oferta dostawienia łóżeczka dla dziecka to koszt 100zl trochę sporo, ale może wynika to z faktu, że trzeba je dostarczyć na 4 piętro bez windy.
