You’re right on the famous Piotrkowska Street – Europe’s longest pedestrian street, though most tourists don’t realize that – but tucked away enough that you won’t be dealing with weekend party noise at 2 AM. I mean, Piotrkowska can get rowdy, especially near the main stretch, but this section at number 59 stays relatively calm. The tram stops are super close (honestly, within a two-minute walk), and you can basically stumble to most of the city’s best restaurants and bars. There’s this fantastic pierogi place called Gubernator just down the street that locals actually go to – not just tourists taking Instagram photos.

What really won me over was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about the details. Check-in was smooth, no weird deposit holds or confusing key card explanations, and the front desk person actually gave me a hand-drawn map showing the best routes to avoid construction zones (Łódź always has construction somewhere). The rooms aren’t huge – this is central Europe, after all – but they’re thoughtfully laid out with decent storage space and, surprisingly, really good blackout curtains. The beds are firm in that European way that either works for you or doesn’t, though I slept great. The bathrooms are modern and clean, with those rainfall showerheads that actually have good pressure, which honestly can be hit-or-miss in Polish hotels.

I stayed during late spring when the weather was still unpredictable, and having a quiet, comfortable base made all the difference. The breakfast spread was simple but solid – proper Polish bread, decent coffee, and they actually had local honey instead of those generic packets. Nothing fancy, but it felt authentic rather than trying too hard to impress. The common areas have this understated green theme that ties into the name, and there’s free WiFi that actually works throughout the building, not just in the lobby like some places I’ve stayed.

The real test of any hotel is those little moments when things go sideways, and during my stay, they handled a minor mix-up with housekeeping so smoothly I barely noticed. That 8.8 rating makes complete sense – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it absolutely nails what it is trying to be. If you’re looking for a solid base to explore Łódź without breaking the bank, especially if you want to be walking distance from the city’s cultural heart, Zielona Przystań delivers. Just don’t expect a pool or room service – this is about location, comfort, and getting the fundamentals right.

  Perfect apartment! There was everything one might need for longer stay. I was only there for one night and really regretted that because I'd love to stay longer there. Nice, cozy apartment with the fireplace, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen,central location. I will definitely stay here in the future.

  Miło spędziliśmy wakacje. Przemiła gospodyni zorganizowała nam wczesne zameldowanie w apartamencie, ponieważ mieliśmy wcześnie przyjechać pociągiem. Dużo miejsca. Samo centrum miasta, a jednak bardzo ciche. Fantastyczna lokalizacja. Jest wszystko, czego potrzebujesz – czajnik, mikrofalówka i suszarka do włosów. Łóżko w sypialni jest bardzo miękkie. Polecam odwiedzenie tego miejsca.

  I was in Lodz visiting friends for Christmas. This was a great central option with the necessary tools to prepare my own meals while most of the city was closed for the holidays. The apartment was quiet and warm, and I was obsessed with the little fireplace while it was snowing outside.

  A spacious and quiet apartment in the vary heart of Łódź. It has all the facilities one may need for a short or long stay, well equipped kitchen, beautiful and comfortable non-standard furniture. The host is very helpful and easy to communicate with.
  
  What could be improved: There is not too much daylight getting into the apartment (but it's well made up for with lamps). Since it's ground floor, there is a level of compromise between opening/unshading the windows and privacy.
