The building itself has this interesting character; it’s not flashy, but there’s something solid and reassuring about it. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no lengthy presentations about amenities I’ll never use.

What really won me over was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between homey and professional. The room (I’m guessing the “208′” in the name refers to the square footage?) felt genuinely spacious, which is rare for a 3-star place in a city center. There’s this garden area that’s actually worth spending time in – not just some token green space with a couple of sad plants. I found myself having my morning coffee out there most days, watching the neighborhood wake up. The whole place has this calm energy that’s hard to describe… maybe it’s because it’s not trying so hard to impress you with marble lobbies and complicated lighting schemes. Instead, everything just works the way it should. The Wi-Fi is solid (I had video calls with no issues), the shower has proper pressure, and honestly, the bed was comfortable enough that I overslept twice. Parking was easier than I expected for this part of town, though I’d still recommend asking about it when you book. The only thing that took some getting used to was how quiet it gets at night – coming from a busier hotel on my last trip, I actually missed having some background city noise. But that’s hardly a complaint when you wake up actually rested for once.
