I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to WiguryTower Apartaments 93 on Stanisława Wigury street, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. The building looks pretty standard for this part of Śródmieście, but you know what they say about judging books by their covers. Once I got inside, though, I realized this place punches way above its 3-star rating. I mean, a 9.4 rating doesn’t just happen by accident.

The apartments themselves are actually quite spacious – and I’m someone who’s stayed in way too many cramped European city accommodations to count. What struck me most was how quiet it was, even though you’re right in the middle of Łódź’s central district. The windows must be pretty decent quality because I barely heard any street noise, which is honestly a miracle given how lively Wigury street can get during the day. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too (not just the sad mini-fridge situation you sometimes get), so if you’re planning to grab groceries from the Biedronka down the street or hit up the local market, you can actually cook something decent. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay – worked perfectly for video calls, which is more than I can say for some supposedly fancier places I’ve been.

Location-wise, you’re in a really sweet spot here. Piotrkowska Street, which is basically Łódź’s main artery with all the restaurants and nightlife, is just a short walk away. But here’s the thing locals know – staying right on Piotrkowska can be pretty noisy, especially on weekends when people are bar-hopping until 3 AM. Being on Wigury gives you easy access without the chaos. I found myself walking to Manufaktura shopping center regularly (maybe 15 minutes on foot), and there’s decent public transport connections if you need to get around the city. The staff actually seemed to care about making sure guests were comfortable – check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about where to find decent pierogi at 10 PM, they had real recommendations, not just the tourist trap suggestions. Honestly, for the price point and that rating, I get why people keep coming back to this place. It’s not trying to be some luxury experience, but it does the fundamentals really well, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re exploring a city like Łódź.

  Wszystko w jak najlepszym porządku. Apartament zawiera wszystko czego można potrzebować. Czysto i wygodnie. Świetna lokalizacja. Dużym plusem jest dostępność parkingu w cenie apartamentu.
  
  What could be improved: Myślę że można rozważyć dodanie dodatkowych naczyń i sztućców. W przypadku pobytu na jedną noc i dla jednej osoby było ok, aczkolwiek w przypadku ciut dłuższego pobytu może to być problematyczne.

  Great location. Near the old town. The apartment has all the necessary household appliances, a large TV, a washing machine, air conditioning. Quiet location. There is a parking space for the car. Spent one night, everything was great, but the pillows should be bigger, because they are very small and uncomfortable.

  The parking was very easy to find, as well as entering the building and the room was straightforward. The room is looks very new, clean, great kitchen equipment, large TV. AC worked exceptionally well. Truly a great stay.
