It’s tucked into Śródmieście – which honestly is the best part of Łódź if you want to be in the thick of things – and the building itself has this sort of understated presence on Stanisława Wigury street that grows on you.

I mean, let’s be real about Łódź for a second. It’s not Warsaw or Kraków, but that’s exactly why I ended up loving this spot. The apartments are properly spacious (and I’m talking actually spacious, not “European spacious” where you bump into the walls), and whoever designed them understood that people need room to spread out. The kitchen setups are solid – I actually cooked a few meals instead of eating out every night, which my wallet appreciated. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re right in the city center. The windows must be decent quality because the street noise just… disappears.

The area around Wigury street is perfect for wandering around. There’s this great little café about two blocks over that locals seem to frequent – you’ll spot it by the mismatched chairs outside. And honestly, being in Śródmieście means you can walk to most of the interesting bits of Łódź without dealing with public transport. The famous Piotrkowska Street is an easy stroll, but you’re far enough away that you don’t get the weekend crowd noise. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, which anyone who’s driven in Polish city centers will tell you is no small thing. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward small talk while they fumble with computers. The staff seemed to actually know what they were doing, and the whole process took maybe five minutes. I’d definitely stay here again, especially since the value is pretty incredible for what you get. Sometimes you stumble onto places that just work, you know?
