WiguryTower Apartaments 66′ Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to WiguryTower Apartaments 66′ on Wigury Street, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. But you know what? This place completely surprised me, and that 9.4 rating suddenly made total sense once I got inside.
The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know Łódź at all. Śródmieście might sound intimidating to pronounce (trust me, I butchered it for days), but it’s basically the heart of everything interesting in the city. You’re walking distance from Piotrkowska Street – that’s the main pedestrian strip where all the action happens – but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing at 2 AM. I mean, Wigury Street itself is quiet, lined with those typical Polish apartment buildings that look serious from outside but have character once you’re in. There’s this little café about two blocks down that does incredible pierogi, and honestly, the locals there helped me figure out the best tram routes better than any app could.
What really got me about this place was how they’ve managed to make apartment-style living actually work for travelers. The rooms – well, they’re proper apartments really – have this lived-in feel without being worn down. Real kitchens with full-size fridges (not those mini things that barely fit a sandwich), decent counter space for spreading out groceries from the Żabka around the corner, and windows that actually open wide enough to get some air moving. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense Polish construction – thick walls that keep things quiet, high ceilings that don’t make you feel cramped. I stayed on the fourth floor and could barely hear my neighbors, which is saying something because there was definitely a family with kids next door.
Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no hovering desk clerk trying to upsell you on breakfast packages or spa treatments. Just practical, helpful folks who know their neighborhood and aren’t afraid to give you real directions (like “avoid the construction on Narutowicza” or “the trams get packed around 5 PM”). The whole vibe is sort of like staying at a friend’s place, if your friend happened to be really organized and had good taste in linens. Parking was easier than I expected too – there’s street parking that’s not impossible to navigate, though you’ll want to ask about the local parking rules because they’re… well, they’re Polish parking rules.
Three stars might seem modest, but sometimes that just means they’re not charging you extra for marble bathrooms and gold-plated towel racks you don’t actually need. The value here is solid – you get space to breathe, a real sense of living in the city rather than just passing through, and that rare thing in travel: genuine local character without the tourist markup. If you’re the type who’d rather grab groceries and cook dinner while planning tomorrow’s adventures than eat overpriced hotel restaurant food, this is your spot.

Didn’t like anything about the apartment, starting with the location and the building ending with the apartment itself.
What could be improved: The apartment building was in a bad location and hard to find and the address provided by booking is not accurate neither was the address provided by the host. The apartment wasn’t clean, floor was sticky we couldn’t walk in it barefoot. The apartment is so small and full of unnecessary furniture. The kitchen utensils wasn’t clean. The Water kettle has limestone remains. We were planning to cook dinner but we didn’t after witnessing that. The worst apartment I ever rented in Poland.Exceptional – Marta from Poland – July 7, 2025 (10/10)

Small modern apartment for a short stay. – Saulius from Lithuania – August 1, 2023 (8/10)
The flat is very new and modern, clean. Elevator to 6th floor, TV with Netflix. Free parking in the yard. Two big beds. Friendly host.
What could be improved: On our arrival day house was still under construction, some floors still under preparation. Sleeping with open window was not possible, because of noise from the street. Apartment is quite small, everything in one area (except bathroom). No dish dryer.Exceptional – Magdalena from Poland – July 26, 2023 (10/10)
Comfort and relaxation I had on the flat after a long trip.
What could be improved: That I have to leave. XDPerfect, cosy and moder place for solo or 3 travellers. We stayed for 1 night, would love for a week also! 🤍🤍 – Giedrė from Lithuania – July 7, 2023 (10/10)
