Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to WiguryTower Apartaments 101 on Stanisława Wigury street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty standard apartment building in central Łódź. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you from the outside.

The thing about staying here is that you’re actually living like a local for a few days, not just passing through like at most hotels. I mean, you’ve got a proper apartment setup – kitchen that actually works (I made coffee every morning and it felt weirdly satisfying), living space where you can spread out your stuff without feeling cramped, and honestly, the whole place just feels… real. The building itself has that solid Eastern European construction thing going on – thick walls, which is great because Wigury can get a bit busy during the day with trams and traffic, but inside it’s surprisingly quiet. I slept better here than I have at fancier places, if I’m being completely honest.

What really got me was how perfectly positioned this place is for exploring Łódź properly. You’re in Śródmieście, which sounds intimidating if you don’t speak Polish but just means city center, and from here you can walk to Piotrkowska Street in about ten minutes – that’s the main pedestrian strip where all the action happens. The neighborhood itself has this great lived-in feel; there’s a little grocery store practically next door (super handy when you have a kitchen), and you’ll see actual residents going about their daily routines, not just tourists with cameras. I actually found myself chatting with an older gentleman who lived in the building – turns out he’d been there for decades and had some fascinating stories about how the area has changed.

The apartment itself was spotless and well-maintained, though don’t expect luxury finishes or Instagram-perfect decor. It’s functional in the best way possible – good water pressure in the shower, reliable WiFi, heating that works properly (important if you’re visiting in winter, trust me), and windows that open wide enough to get fresh air without letting in too much street noise. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you settle in; it’s not trying to be something it isn’t, but what it does, it does really well. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of town – I’d definitely ask about that when you book if you’re driving. But honestly, with the tram connections right nearby, you might not even need a car to get around Łódź comfortably.

  Гарні, невеликі, комфортні апартаменти. Є праска, що було зручно перед прогулянкою. Зупинилися лише на ніч, супер комфотно. Окреме паркувальне місце.

  Bardzo czyste i przyjemne mieszkanko, w wyposażeniu było wszystko co potrzeba. My nie skorzystaliśmy ale na dłuższy pobyt była pralka, zmywarka, lodówka, płyta indukcyjna i przybory do gotowania. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni.

  Duże, przestronne mieszkanie. Plus za wydzieloną część do spania, mimo, że to salon/sypialnia z aneksem.
  Czysto, duża łazienka.
  Blisko do Piotrkowskiej, ale na tyle daleko, że nic nie zakłóca snu 🙂
  Blisko do sklepów, przystanków, starego miasta.

  What could be improved: Brak miejsc parkingowych. Niby jest kilka (5 czy 6), ale już o 19.00 były zajęte. Dużo wyznaczonych miejsc dla security, które były wolne, ale nie można było ich zająć.. i wręcz chamski Pan ochroniarz, który nie potrafi kulturalnie zwrócić uwagi, że nie można parkować na tych miejscach.

  The apartment is not big, but there is enough place for everything. The up-to-date interior, modern furniture and equipment, convenient and new shower and toilet – everything was perfect. Amazing, comfortable and cozy place for short stay in Lodz.

  It was very nice, clean till last detail, everything was new, nothing missing, very fresh. I loved how even pillows had a good smell. Would very recommend
  
  What could be improved: Perhaps the surrounding of the facility, building it self is still under renovation. And there is trash all around the building, if you take elevator with your child , close their eyes . Elevator is like a graffiti wall, but not in good terms
