The space feels bigger than you’d expect, with decent natural light filtering in – something I always worry about with these converted places. Check-in was straightforward, no drama, which honestly can be hit or miss with smaller properties like this.

Location-wise, you’re in a sweet spot. Walk five minutes and you’ll hit the main pedestrian stretch where all the cafes and bars cluster, but you won’t deal with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM. I could easily walk to most places I wanted to check out – the Manufaktura shopping complex is totally doable on foot if you’re into that, and the tram connections from this area are solid if you want to explore further out. Parking might be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (street parking in Śródmieście always is), but honestly most people are better off using public transport anyway. The whole experience felt authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find – it’s clearly a 3-star place, not trying to be something it isn’t, but with enough personality and local flavor that you feel like you’re actually staying somewhere that belongs to Łódź rather than just any generic hotel room. For the price point and that 8.4 rating, it makes sense – comfortable, unpretentious, and genuinely connected to its surroundings.

  Piękna kamienica ,duży pokój z aneksem i łazienka . Wszystko blisko ,dworzec centrum,Piotrkowska dwa przystanki tramwajem.

  Sam lokal bardzo klimatyczny, przytulny, z duszą. Największym plusem była lokalizacja, blisko do centrum.
  
  What could be improved: Czystość pozostawiała wiele do życzenia. W szafce klejące się sztućce (po 2 sztuki 😅), których strach było używać. Dziwne czarne plamy pod prysznicem, brudna podłoga. Opadająca klamka przy drzwiach wejściowych do apartamentu. W szafkach resztki produktów pozostawionych po poprzednich gościach.

  The ladder to the bed is a bit hard to navigate when you are sleepy. Exercise caution when going up and down as you could slip and fall.

  What could be improved: Very neglected apartment. Dead flower pots, dishes not properly stored away, there was one wooden spoon in the drawer that had tried noodles and sauce dried on it that looked like from last year. Living room a lightbulb was keep flickering so I took it out. Shower head was broken so water keeps shooting in all directions. Floor at the balcony door had water damage. Floor didn’t look cleaned at all, key was outside on the door when I arrived. wifi and TV both not working. I told the host that I am dissatisfied but if he can fix the wifi I will stay so he gave me access to another working wifi. It just feels like the whole cleaning process took like 10min by just changing the bedsheets and bring new towels…It was very disappointing to see an accommodation with good potential being this neglected.

  Host was very nice. Answered all our questions, let us in a little bit earlier. Location was super nice, close to city center and to Lodz Fabryczna station. Additional blanket was included, kitchen stuff was in good condition. Although apartment looks really small on the pictures but it is actually feels very nice because of high ceilings. I highly recommend this place.
  
  What could be improved: Shower pressure was pity but I suppose it is a matter of old house not a problem of an apartment.
