I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Urban Chic – One Bedroom Apartment – Gdanska, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. It’s this converted building on Gdańska street that looks pretty standard from the outside, but man, was I wrong about what waited inside. The whole setup is actually really well thought out, and you can tell someone put real effort into making this feel like a proper home rather than just another rental unit.

The apartment itself has this great industrial-meets-cozy vibe going on – exposed brick in spots, but softened with warm lighting and comfortable furniture that doesn’t look like it came from some generic hotel supplier. What really got me was the kitchen setup. I mean, it’s fully equipped with everything you’d actually need if you want to cook (which, let’s face it, can save you a ton when you’re staying in Łódź for more than a few days). The bedroom’s spacious enough that you’re not bumping into walls, and honestly, the bed was way more comfortable than I expected from a 3-star place. Sometimes these apartments skimp on mattresses, but not here.

Location-wise, you’re right in the heart of things without being stuck in tourist trap central. Gdańska street puts you within walking distance of the main commercial areas, and there’s this great little café about two blocks down that locals actually go to – not just visitors. The tram connections are solid too, though I found myself walking most places since everything felt pretty accessible. One thing to note: it can get a bit lively on weekend evenings since you’re in a residential area where people actually live and socialize, but it’s not party-central loud. Parking was surprisingly manageable when I visited in late spring – there’s street parking that locals showed me the tricks for, though I’d definitely ask the host about it ahead of time. Check-in was smooth, no weird key pickup drama or anything like that. What impressed me most was how the 9.1 rating actually feels earned – you know how sometimes places have inflated scores? This one delivers on the promise. It’s the kind of spot where you end up staying longer than planned because it just works, and you’re not constantly dealing with little annoyances that pile up in lesser places.

Early hotels booking in Lodz requires advance planning during peak festival seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s renowned film culture and revitalized districts.

  Self check-in. Piękny, przestronny i bardzo dobrze wyposażony apartament. Oszałamiający widok z 7 piętra ! Wielki balkon. Wygodnie i bardzo funkcjonalnie urządzone wnętrze. Dużo miejsc parkingowych na ulicy jak i na parkingu przy samym budynku. Niestety wszystkie płatne (no ale to Łódź). Bardzo polecam

Zniszczona i poplamiona kanapa, a wyposażenie kuchni to dramat. Brak podstawowych rzeczy. Stojak z rozwieszonym praniem w salonie

  dobra lokalizacja, czysto i świeżo. Tramwaj pod nosem, więc transport był bardzo wygodny

  Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni. Apartament ładnie i funkcjonalnie urządzony. Czysty i pachnący- bardzo nam na tym zależało. Cisza i spokój. Bezpieczne zamknięte osiedle. Lokalizacja świetnie skomunikowana z resztą miasta. Wykupiliśmy bilety całodniowe na komunikację miejską. Sprawnie, wygodnie i na czas.
