I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Uni Apartament on Uniwersytecka Street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another apartment building in Łódź’s city center. Boy, was I wrong. This place turned out to be one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special, tucked away in apartment 19 of this surprisingly charming building in Śródmieście.

What really got me was how thoughtfully everything’s been put together inside. I mean, you walk in and it’s clear someone actually lives in this neighborhood and knows what travelers need. The space feels genuinely homey – not that sterile hotel vibe you get so often – with proper kitchen setup that actually works (I made coffee there every morning without wanting to throw anything). The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Łódź like a local rather than a tourist. You’re right in the heart of things on Uniwersytecka, which puts you walking distance from the university area where there’s always something happening, plus you can easily wander over to Piotrkowska Street when you want the main drag action. I loved that I could grab groceries at the nearby shops and actually felt like I was living in the neighborhood for a few days.

You know what really impressed me though? The attention to detail and how quiet it stays despite being so central. I was worried about street noise – city center locations can be hit or miss – but the windows do their job well, and the building itself is solid. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward hanging around a lobby business. The 9.6 rating honestly makes sense once you’re there; it’s the kind of place where everything just works without you having to think about it. If you’re the type who likes having your own space to spread out, cook a proper meal, and feel settled rather than just passing through, this spot delivers. Plus – and this might sound small but it matters – the neighborhood has that authentic Polish city feel without being touristy or pretentious. I’d definitely book it again, which for me is always the real test.

  It was the perfect apartment, fully equipped, more than we expected. First of all, it’s like the pictures and more beautiful. Second it had from a shoe cleaner to a welcome chocolate. Everything was so good!

  The apartment had eveything you need! All the things were so thoughtfully placed for using (like shoe wax or milk for your coffee and so much more)

  Realy stylish and wellthought place. It feels like you are visiting a friend apartment, not renting a place. Parking is on the street, but we managed to get a place on a busy saturday night with no problem.
  
  What could be improved: There is one living room, it also contines sleeping sofa and the bed, so three persons have to sleep right next to each other. Great for couples, however I would not recomend this place for three adult persons.

  Everything that you need for a stay is available and the apartment looks newly renovated. Enough free parking in the street. City center is walking distance. The host Katarzyna has been super responsive. The price quality ratio is through the roof.
