What really won me over was the natural light – these big windows that face the right direction, so you’re not stumbling around in darkness at 4 PM during winter. The neighborhood itself is pretty fantastic if you like being able to walk everywhere. There’s this great little café about two blocks away that does proper Polish breakfast, and you’re maybe a ten-minute stroll from Piotrkowska Street, which is where all the action happens anyway. I found myself walking to restaurants and bars most nights, never needed to worry about taxis or public transport timing.

Here’s the thing though – and this is probably why it scores so well with other travelers – the whole experience just works smoothly. Check-in was straightforward, the place was genuinely clean (not just surface-level tidy), and when I had a question about the heating, someone actually responded quickly. You don’t always get that level of attention to detail, especially at this price point. The Wi-Fi held up fine for video calls, which was crucial since I was mixing some work into the trip. I’d definitely stay here again, particularly because it strikes that sweet spot between being affordable and actually comfortable. It’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities, but it gives you exactly what you need to enjoy Łódź without any of those little annoyances that can derail a good trip. Plus, there’s decent street parking if you’re driving – just circle the block once or twice and you’ll find something.
