The location on Wigury street is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Łódź rather than just visiting. You’re right in Śródmieście, which means you can walk to Piotrkowska Street in about ten minutes (I timed it), and that’s where all the real action happens – the bars, restaurants, street art. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: being just off Piotrkowska instead of directly on it means you actually get to sleep at night. The street-facing rooms have this nice city view, and the air conditioning works well, which you’ll definitely appreciate during those surprisingly hot Polish summers.

What really impressed me was how they’ve thought about the practical stuff that drives you crazy at other places. The parking situation – well, let’s just say anyone who’s driven in Łódź knows finding a spot near the center is like winning a small lottery, so having dedicated parking is huge. And that coffee they mention? It’s actually good coffee, not the usual hotel lobby swill. I found myself looking forward to it each morning, which says something. The apartment setup means you’ve got a proper kitchen if you want to grab groceries from the nearby shops, though honestly, with all the restaurants within walking distance, I barely used mine except for storing leftovers and making that morning coffee. The check-in process was smooth – they use a code system which felt very modern and meant I didn’t have to worry about losing a key card. Small thing, but it matters when you’re juggling shopping bags from Manufaktura (the big shopping center is actually pretty close, maybe a 15-minute walk). The 9.2 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where everything just works the way it should, without any of those little annoyances that can ruin a trip. Sure, the name is ridiculously long, but I guess when you’re delivering on parking, location, good coffee, and a genuine apartment feel in the heart of Łódź, you’ve earned the right to brag about it a little.

  The apartment was very cozy, nicely decorated and had everything you might need during your stay. We felt like at home. The location is convenient right in the city centre. A big shopping mall and the old town are a walking distance away. We always managed to find parking spots next to the entrance. Staff communicated everything properly.

  I did not end up staying. Both location and access to the apartment felt extremely unsafe for me.

  What could be improved: Location: the street is very lonely and it just felt like a horrible idea to leave the car in the middle of nowhere. Access to the apartment can be tricky and as soon as the elevator opened I knew I was not staying, like taken out from a horror movie. THERE WAS NO FREAKING BED!!! Just a foldable horrible sofa.
