I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Tobaco Premium by LookAp on Kopernika Street, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes you get pleasantly surprised, and this little gem in Łódź absolutely delivered beyond what those stars might suggest.

The location is actually pretty smart if you know the city at all. Kopernika runs right through one of the more interesting parts of Łódź, and you’re close enough to walk to the main shopping areas without being stuck in all the tourist chaos. I mean, Łódź isn’t exactly overrun with crowds like Krakow, but still – there’s something nice about having that buffer zone. The building itself has this understated elegance that I really appreciated. Nothing flashy or trying too hard, just clean lines and that kind of confident simplicity that suggests they spent their money on things that actually matter to guests rather than lobby theatrics.

What really struck me was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about getting the details right. Check-in was smooth (I’ve stayed at plenty of places where this basic interaction somehow becomes an ordeal), and honestly, the room quality felt more like what you’d expect from a 4-star property. The beds are properly comfortable – not just adequate, but the kind where you actually sleep well and wake up without that stiff neck you get from questionable mattresses. Bathrooms are modern and well-thought-out, with decent water pressure and those little touches that show someone was paying attention during the design phase. The soundproofing is solid too, which matters more than you might think on a street that can get a bit lively, especially on weekends.

I think what pushes this place into that 9.3 rating territory is consistency – everything works the way it should, the WiFi doesn’t drop out every ten minutes, the air conditioning actually cools the room, and the housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work. It’s not revolutionary stuff, but it’s executed really well. The breakfast spread was better than I expected too, with some local touches mixed in with the standard European hotel fare. There’s covered parking available (always a relief in city centers), and they’re genuinely helpful with recommendations if you ask. The whole experience just felt… competent and comfortable, I guess. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want from a place to stay – no drama, no unpleasant surprises, just a solid base for exploring Łódź that doesn’t break the budget but doesn’t feel like you’re roughing it either.

  Apartament spełnił nasze oczekiwania, czysty, zadbany, wyposażony we wszystko co było nam potrzebne. Znajduje się na zamkniętym dziedzińcu. Blisko jest cukiernia (pyszne pączki na śniadanie w tłusty czwartek), żabka i większy sklep Lidl. Parking bezpłatny jest przy ulicy. Akurat nam się zdarzyło, że było miejsce bo przyjechaliśmy później niż zamierzaliśmy. Płatny jest dosłownie naprzeciwko. Komunikacją miejską również można podróżować, przystanek blisko apartamentu.
  Plusem było możliwość późniejszego wymeldowania.
  
  What could be improved: Proponuję zaopatrzyć łazienkę w zestaw higieniczny z takimi przydasiami na wszelki wypadek czy igielnik by poczuć ulgę w kryzysowej sytuacji. Uatrakcyjni to obiekt 🙂
