The Wi-Fi works properly too (I know, I know, that should be a given in 2024, but you’d be surprised how many places still mess this up). I was working remotely for part of my stay and never had those awkward frozen video calls that make you want to throw your laptop out the window.

What I really appreciated was how the whole place feels lived-in rather than sterile.   The host was very kind and helpful, and the room was exactly as described. It had everything I needed, in a central location with a nice view. The area was calm, with shops nearby and a café street just a 7-minute walk away.
  
  What could be improved: The building and staircase are rather old, but this doesn’t affect the room itself. Once you're inside, you can truly enjoy your stay.

  The access to the apartment very difficult. Code did not work and some other resident had to let us in. Had to climb many stairs to third floor as no lift. Then again, keys to apartment were not working. I requested owner to come & help, but no help arrived. I left the apartment immediately and booked accommodation elsewhere.

  Good location, comfortable room, free private parking (closed, not underground), walkable streets outside, just 10 min to main pedestrian street with lots of bars and restaurants. Good host. But consider that it's 3d floor without elevator (potentially, most buildings in this district are like this).
  
  In general, very good option for this price and friendly host. The host even gave a gift for us – free wine (unfortunately, it was cheep bulgarian aromatized wine which we couldn't drink. But the intent was good, thank you).
