I was expecting some cramped apartment conversion on Lipowa street, but this place actually feels like someone put real thought into making visitors comfortable. The building sits right in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to Piotrkowska Street (honestly, maybe 15 minutes on foot), but you’re not dealing with the weekend chaos that comes with staying right in the thick of things.

The apartment itself is genuinely spacious – I mean, they say 15 people and it doesn’t feel like you’re playing Tetris with bodies everywhere. The layout actually works, which is rare for these larger rental spaces. What really sold me though was walking up and seeing that parking spot waiting right there. In Łódź, that’s not a given, especially around the Lipowa area where street parking can be… well, let’s just say it’s an adventure. The hosts clearly get that most people driving into the city don’t want to spend their first hour circling blocks looking for a spot.

I’ll be honest – the neighborhood isn’t the most Instagram-ready part of Łódź, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re staying where actual locals live, not in some sterile tourist bubble. There’s this great little pierogi place about two blocks down that I never would’ve found if I’d stayed in the city center, and the morning walk to grab coffee gives you a real feel for how the city wakes up. The tram connections are solid too (the 46 line becomes your best friend), so getting to Manufaktura or the main shopping areas is straightforward enough. What impressed me most was how quiet it gets at night – you can actually sleep without earplugs, which after staying in some of those “centrally located” places, felt like a luxury. The 4-star rating seems about right; it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything works the way it should, and honestly, that 8.3 guest rating makes sense once you’ve been there a few days.

  Apartament przestronny. Pomieści nawet 3 rodziny. Przyjechaliśmy na jedną noc, więc niewiele udało się zobaczyć aczkolwiek głównie zalezalo nam na niedalekiej odległości od ulicy Piotrkowskiej – jakieś 15 min spacerkiem.

  Świetna lokalizacja, 5 minut spacerem do Manufaktury i ul. Piotrkowskiej. Ogromne i świetnie wyposażone mieszkanie (zmywarka, mikrofalówka, piekarnik, odkurzacz, żelazko, płyn do naczyń, mydło, żel pod prysznic, tabletki do zmywarki itd.). Dużo wieszaków na ubrania, bogato wyposażona kuchnia, sporo miejsca na bagaże, wygodne łóżka. Ogromnym plusem są 2 łazienki! Przy dużej liczbie lokatorów sprawdzają się doskonale. Do tego świetny kontakt z Właścicielami. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z pobytu 🙂
