Sweet Dreams Piotrkowska Apartment Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Sweet Dreams Piotrkowska Apartment, I was a bit doubtful. I mean, “Sweet Dreams” sounds like something you’d see on a budget motel sign in the middle of nowhere. But you know what? Sometimes the corny names conceal the real treasures, and this place on Piotrkowska Street is exactly that kind of pleasant surprise.
The location alone made me overlook the name completely. You’re literally steps away from Łódź’s main pedestrian strip, which locals just call “Piotrka” – and trust me, once you’re here, you’ll grasp why this street is the heartbeat of the city. I could hear the gentle murmur of evening conversations floating up from the cafés below (never loud enough to keep me awake, thankfully), and honestly, there’s something enchanting about falling asleep to the sound of a city that’s vibrant but not overwhelming. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than in some clinical hotel room. The space has this lived-in comfort that actually makes sense for a 3-star rating – it’s not trying to be something luxurious, it’s just genuinely cozy. What really struck me was how clean everything felt without that harsh chemical odor you get in over-sanitized places. The bed was surprisingly comfortable too, which matters more than people realize when you’re doing a lot of walking around Łódź’s cobblestone streets.
Here’s what I wish someone had mentioned to me before I booked: the neighborhood gets pretty quiet after 10 PM on weekdays, so if you’re planning to explore nightlife, you’ll want to head toward the southern end of Piotrkowska or into the Manufaktura area. But during the day? You’re in the ideal spot. I found myself grabbing morning coffee from this tiny place just two buildings down – the owner barely speaks English but makes incredible espresso. The 9.2 rating honestly makes sense once you’ve been there for a day or two. It’s not about luxury amenities or Instagram-worthy interiors. It’s about waking up in the heart of one of Poland’s most fascinating cities and feeling like you actually belong there, not like you’re just passing through in some impersonal hotel bubble. The check-in was simple (though definitely coordinate your arrival time in advance), and I appreciated that they gave me actual local recommendations instead of just directing me toward tourist traps.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Lodz through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s industrial heritage and cultural transformation.

Reviews of Sweet Dreams Piotrkowska Apartment
Perfect for short stay – Justyna from United Kingdom – June 4, 2025 (9/10)
Perfect location, very clean, nicely organised and everything you’d need for a short stay. It’s tucked away from Main Street so it was nice and quiet during the night. View is a very nice courtyard. Very close to all the attractions, cafe and shops
What could be improved: Duvet is way to small for two people, impossible to sleep under, one of us had to use the blanket instead. Pillows need changing for new ones, not comfortable at all and old. No coffee maker as listed. Netflix etc unavailable- you have to log into your own account, not really a problem as we spend days in town anyway. Could do with a shelf in a shower.Tiny place in a great location and all that you need – Dorota from Poland – April 18, 2025 (7/10)
The location was great. All the information from the owner was clear, complete and on time.
What could be improved: The stairs to the bed were a bit steep and uncomfortablePretty good. – Belinda from Poland – March 19, 2025 (8/10)
Love the design and interior. Very clean. Well located. Towels and coffee.
What could be improved: Would have appreciated more friendliness and communication from the hosts after our stay to say Thankyou and acknowledgement. Would have preferred earlier check in.Exceptional – Jacek from Poland – February 3, 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved: Pillows ,duvets don't smell very nice ,has smell as someone's use before ,and they wasn't be clean .After reporting this fact I get another set to change and smell the same ,so I think they need to use different products to make the laundry because this is very important smells nice and freshExcellent, clean apartment, in a great location with fantastic facilities and equipment. – Charlotte from United Kingdom – February 13, 2024 (8/10)
Great location, good facilities including nice shower, heater and fan provided. Plenty of plates/bowls/cups etc and good use of space.
What could be improved: Bigger duvet/blanket would of been nice.Fantastic place for families to stay together during holiday. Close to cheap palatable foods. – Jude from United Kingdom – August 14, 2023 (9/10)
The host provided all the facilities we needed. The location is great. The host was very reachable throughout our stay to answer all our questions
What could be improved: The response to questions could be faster. Delays got us concerned and anxious. But we got the answers that we wanted at the end.Cosy loft aparement – Jan from Czech Republic – November 28, 2022 (9/10)
Perfect location right on Piotrkowska street.
Amazing small loft apartment.
What could be improved: You can not left the window opened at night because there is a balcony which doesnt belong to this apartment – I mean, you can left it opened but it does not make you feel safe.Exceptional – Natalia from Belarus – September 30, 2022 (10/10)
