The air conditioning isn’t one of those ancient, rattling units that sounds like a helicopter landing – it actually works quietly, which matters more than you’d think during those surprisingly warm Polish summers. The keyless entry system took me about thirty seconds to figure out (the instructions are clear), and there’s something oddly satisfying about not having to worry about losing a physical key while you’re out exploring. The space itself feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed apartment than a sterile hotel room. You’ve got proper kitchen facilities, which means you can grab fresh ingredients from the local markets – there’s actually a great little grocery store just a few minutes’ walk away that locals use, not some overpriced tourist trap. The internet connection was solid too, which I mention because I’ve been burned before trying to work remotely from European apartments with spotty WiFi. Look, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything works exactly as it should, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. The 4-star rating feels right – it’s comfortable and reliable without trying to be fancy about it. Plus, that 9 out of 10 rating from other guests? Yeah, I get it now.

  The apartment was very clean with modern decor. Great location with just a 10 minutes walk to Piotrowska Street. The access to the apartment and the parking was very easy. It was nice and warm in the flat on our arrival.
  
  What could be improved: We have booked the apartment for 4 people and noticed we had only 3 bath towels. Also the bedding for the sofa bed was not ideal as the sheet would not cover the whole sofa and only one pillow had a pillow case for the 2 people to sleep on the sofa bed. We ended up giving two of our pillows from the bedroom to our parents and were left with 2 small in the bedroom. The duvet was also way too small for the 2 people to use on the sofa bed. The shower head in the bathroom needs some serious maintenance as the water was leaking at the top from the pipe leading towards the shower head which has made the shower head unusable as the water was leaking from above onto the floor in the bathroom. We had to use the smaller shower head instead.
