I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name SKY Home- Blue Apartament -Manufaktura, Bezpłatny Parking, Klima, Dostęp na KOD, I thought it was going to be one of those generic apartment rentals that looks nothing like the photos. But you know what? This place on Drewnowska actually surprised me in the best way. The blue theme isn’t just some random name – they’ve genuinely committed to this calming color scheme throughout the space, and it works surprisingly well. The apartment sits right in the Baluty district, which honestly used to be pretty rough but has been quietly transforming over the past few years. You’re basically a stone’s throw from Manufaktura (hence the name), and I mean that literally – you can see the shopping complex from some of the windows.

What really sold me on this place was the parking situation, which anyone who’s driven around Łódź will appreciate. Free parking that’s actually secure and not just some random street spot where you’re praying your car’s still there in the morning. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during my July stay – and I say this as someone who usually tough it out with just windows open. The apartment itself feels lived-in but well-maintained, not like those sterile corporate rentals where you’re afraid to touch anything. There’s this nice balance of having everything you need (decent WiFi, proper kitchen setup, comfortable bed) without feeling like you’re staying in a hotel room. The kod access system took me a minute to figure out, but once you get it, it’s actually pretty convenient for late arrivals.

The location really grows on you – sure, it’s not in the postcard-pretty old town, but you’re getting authentic Łódź life here. There’s a decent grocery store within walking distance, and the tram connections are better than you’d expect. I could get to Piotrkowska Street in about fifteen minutes, which is perfect for dinner without having to deal with all the tourist crowds right outside your door. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet at night, which was perfect for me but might feel a bit isolated if you’re looking for nightlife within stumbling distance. That 9.2 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works the way it should, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re exploring a city like Łódź.

  The location near Manufaktura is convenient, but there are far better apartments in the same complex.
  
  What could be improved: I was given the wrong apartment number and code, and walked in on a half-naked man. Staff were rude, showed no understanding of the serious security risks they caused, and offered no apology. On day 3 of my Monday–Friday stay, my access code stopped working and I was locked out for 15 minutes with no reply from the host until I found a second number to another person.
  
  The apartment was dirty: black hairs in the bathroom, dirty bathtub (dirt and hair), a filthy hairdryer, lipstick-stained glasses, and all towels smelled of mould so strongly they were unusable. I had to buy my own towels and pillowcase because the bedding was worn out, musty, and creased.
  
  There were only two small toilet paper rolls for 4 nights, no shower gel, shampoo, or kitchen cloth—basic things you'd expect. They only provide one handsoap.
  
  The only wall-mounted bedside lamp was broken (no apology given), and there was no ceiling light switch near the bed— I could use only a very bright ceiling light, which made evenings uncomfortable.
  
  The studio faces another building just metres away—you can see straight into your neighbours’ flats, and they into yours, so curtains have to stay closed for privacy.
  
  The staff were hostile when I complained and even told me to leave – something I would have done immediately if I hadn’t been travelling for work and in meetings all day with no time to pack and move.
  
  The other guest in the other apartment deserves compensation —his privacy and safety were also violated.

  What could be improved: There’s quite a lack of empathy, and compassion which is further exacerbated by language barriers where information isn’t appropriately communicated, and perhaps a culture of “figure it out for yourself and you’ll get no compassion if you’re confused or make a mistake.”
  I was told the address, easy. Told the car park number, easy, found it. Now the building.. this building has a minimum 10 entrances each which its own level 2, so I found level 2 and realised I had been told the CODE number which opens all 10+ entrances to the building but I hadn’t been told the ROOM number. So I asked and received a “I’ve given you all the information you need” excuse me? If you had provided all the information, why would I be asking you a question. It turns out the CODE number was actually the room number. Ok cool, now which entrance do I go into.. apparently blue, it was actually an entrance painted yellow but ok. I was also provided with a map with an arrow just pointed indiscriminately at the side of the building.. that doesn’t help when there’s like 10 entrances on that side of the building.
  Once in the room, it was very show roomy/tacky, there was no love in there. The bed was concrete and the pillows were just couch cushions. There was no love in it and there was certainly no love for people staying there.
  There’s also not much to do in Lodz, I would’ve driven to Warsaw and spent another night there had I known.
  I also found the people in Lodz to be quite rude and full of their own self importance. Wouldn’t bother

  Good location, clear instructions, own parking place available, nice and clean apartment in a new building, comfy bed, washing machine with washing capsules, that we used, in the morning it was also nice to use coffee machine. Both coffee capsules and coffee cream was available.
  
  What could be improved: Soap dispenser was empty in the bathroom, but it didn't really bother us. 🙂

  It was a convenient stay near to Manufakurer centre. The little kitchen and fridge was good.
  It was small but comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: There were no cleaning products like dish cloth or tea towel and very few crockery, cups and plates. We were happy to reuse and wash our plates, but then nothing to clean with. We couldn't even wipe the bench for our own cleanliness. There was no plastic bag in the bin.
  I would say it was expensive for what it offered.
