I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Rudzka Góra Comfy Apartment, I wasn’t expecting much. The area around Starorudzka street isn’t exactly what you’d call tourist central in Łódź, but you know what? That turned out to be exactly why I loved staying here.

The thing about this place is that it sits in one of those genuinely residential neighborhoods where you actually get to see how locals live. I mean, you’re still only about 15 minutes by tram from the main Piotrkowska Street action, but here on Starorudzka, it’s quiet enough that I could actually sleep with the windows open – which, if you’ve stayed in central Łódź before, you’ll know is kind of a luxury. The apartment itself is exactly what it promises to be: comfortable without trying to be fancy. The furniture is that practical IKEA-style stuff that actually works well for travelers, and honestly, the kitchen was better equipped than I expected. I ended up cooking a few meals because there’s a decent Biedronka just a short walk away, and the local market on weekends has some really good produce.

What really impressed me was how the place manages to feel like a proper home base rather than just somewhere to crash. The wifi actually works (I had video calls with no issues), there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase, and the shower has proper water pressure – small things, but they matter when you’re staying more than a couple nights. The host was pretty responsive too, though check-in is one of those keybox situations, which worked fine but just be aware if you’re arriving super late. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle on the street, but there are usually spots if you don’t mind walking a block or two. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet after evening hours, which I actually appreciated after spending days wandering around the busier parts of the city.

I think this place works especially well if you’re planning to explore beyond just the obvious tourist spots – there’s something nice about coming back to a real neighborhood rather than some sanitized hotel district. The rating of 9.1 makes sense to me; it’s not trying to be a luxury experience, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. For a 3-star place, it punches above its weight in terms of cleanliness and functionality. Just don’t expect room service or a concierge – this is very much a “you’ve got your own space, figure it out” kind of setup, which I actually prefer when I’m staying somewhere for more than just a night or two.

  Lokalizacja na plus. Do centrum niedaleko, Blisko biedronka. Na plus parking przy budynku za brama wjazdowa. Okolica spokojna choć dość głośno za oknami.
  
  What could be improved: W apartamencie brak ręczników, mydła, nie mówiąc o dodatkowych środkach higienicznych jak szampon ( w opisie była informacja, że jest na wyposażeniu komplet małych dodatków). Ponadto brakowało poszewek na poduszki, a poszwa na kołdrę była prawie o 50 cm za mała, przez co nie mieliśmy jednego kompletu pościeli. Mimo informacji do właścicieli przez booking, sprawa nie została załatwiona. Musieliśmy kupić ręczniki a na poduszki położyc prześcieradła. W kuchni płyn do mycia naczyń ewidentnie rozcieńczony wodą.
  Generalnie nie wrócimy tam z rodziną.

  Apartament położony w spokojnej okolicy, cisza , spokój. Blisko sklepy spożywcze. Apartament wykończony klimatycznie.
  
  What could be improved: Spędziliśmy tam 2 tygodnie. Apartament nie był przystosowany na takie długie pobyty. Brak środków czystości typu Domestos, płyn do naczyń, papier toaletowy. Zaskoczeniem była 1 kostki do zmywarki. Bardzo ciężko było uruchomić pralkę. Nie było również informacji gdzie wyrzucać śmieci.

  Komfortowy, przyjemnie urządzony apartament, wyposażony we wszystko co niezbędne podczas pobytu. Dobry kontakt z osobami zarządzającymi, wygodne zakwaterowanie i wymeldowanie (bez konieczności umawiania na konkretną godzinę).
  
  What could be improved: Remont elewacji, co moglo wiązać się z obecnością postronnych osób na wysokości balkonu – kwestia niezależna od właściciela nieruchomości, nas nikt nie niepokoił (pobyt weekendowy). Niezagospodarowany taras (balkon).

  Гарна квартира для перебування сім'єю. Закритий паркінг, безпека, зручності, посуд, побутова техніка. Поруч продуктовий магазин і ресторанчик.

  Komfortowe mieszkanko, w którym było wszystko. Dla dzieci rozkładana sofa.
  
  What could be improved: Miejsce parkingowe powinno być szczegółowo określone, bo sąsiedzi potrafią dzwonić i trzeba przestawiać auto na inne miejsce. Mieszkanie jest przy ruchliwej drodze, więc zabierzcie zatyczki do uszu. Trzeba poprawić wieszak na ręczniki, bo nie jest przymocowany do ściany.
