Royal Apartment Overview

You know what struck me first about Royal Apartment? The location is absolutely perfect if you want to be in the heart of Łódź without dealing with tourist traps. It’s right on Piotrkowska Street – and I mean right on it – which is basically the main artery of the city. You can walk out the door and you’re immediately surrounded by cafes, vintage shops, and that incredible street art that Łódź is famous for. The building itself has this great old-world Polish architecture thing going on, though honestly, the entrance is a bit tricky to find at first since it’s tucked into number 92.

The apartment-style setup is actually pretty brilliant for travelers who want more space than your typical hotel room. I mean, you get a proper kitchen (not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), which is fantastic if you pick up some pierogi from the market down the street or want to brew real coffee in the morning. The rooms have this lived-in comfort that feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a sterile hotel – the furniture’s solid, beds are surprisingly comfortable, and there’s enough storage space that you can actually unpack for longer stays. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re literally on one of the busiest streets in the city. The windows do their job well, and honestly, after walking around Łódź all day, you’ll sleep like a baby anyway.

Here’s the thing about this place – it’s got that sweet spot combination of being affordable (it’s a 3-star but feels like more) while still being genuinely well-maintained. The 8.1 rating makes total sense when you experience it. The staff actually knows the neighborhood and can point you toward the good stuff – like which tram stops get you to the textile museum quickly, or where to find the best zapiekanka after midnight. Parking can be a bit of an adventure since it’s right in Srodmiescie, but there are spots nearby if you’re patient. I’d say this is perfect for people who want to experience Łódź like a local rather than being stuck in some generic hotel bubble. Plus, you’re walking distance from basically everything worth seeing – the Manufaktura shopping center, all the converted factory spaces that make this city so unique, and more restaurants than you could try in a week. It’s the kind of place where you actually feel like you’re living in the city for a few days instead of just passing through.

  Bardzo szybka reakcja właściciela na wysłane wiadomości i kontaktowy, idący na rękę wynajmującemu. Mieszkanie jest bardzo przestronie i w super lokalizacji z fajnym balkonem. Polecam osobom, którym nie przeszkadzają dźwięki ulicznego nocnego życiu, bo to jednak środek Piotrkowskiej i dużo się dzieje:)

  Apartament jest bardzo przestronny ,nowe żeśmy aneks w , którym jest wszystko sprzęty sprawne .Ma stole kawa dla gości .Dodatkowe ręczniki i pościel .Fajna wanna w pokoju ,gdzie dodatkowo w toalecie jest prysznic .Duży telewizor z Netflixem.Romantyczny elektryczny kominek ,który daje ciepło .Do góry antresola i dodatkowe miejsce do spania dla dwóch osób ,oprócz łóżka i rozkładanej sofy.Atutem jest balkon na tętniącą życiem.ul .Piotrkowską.Lokalizacja same centrum .Ogolnke więcej plusów niż minusow.

  What could be improved: Unfortunately, we'd encountered a problem – apartment was not cleaned, bed linen was from past guests, there was zero towels in the apartment, and there was trash from the last guests in the trashcan. As guests we were forced to clean bathroom, change bed linen etc. All photos of the apartment condition during our arrival and asking for refund were sent to the owners, no answer. (additionally attaching to this message, that you can understand the condition of the apartment at arrival moment…
