I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Łódź’s city center, but it feels more like you’re crashing at a sophisticated friend’s apartment than staying in a hotel. The rooms have this lived-in comfort – nothing flashy or trying too hard, just really well-thought-out spaces with proper lighting (thank god) and windows that actually open to let in fresh air. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’d think being right in Śródmieście would mean street noise, but this little pocket of the neighborhood settles down beautifully after evening hours. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting the details right too – check-in was smooth, they knew the area well enough to give actual useful recommendations, and honestly, the whole experience felt more personal than I expected from a 3-star place.

Here’s the real deal though – this isn’t just about having a nice place to sleep. You’re a five-minute walk from Piotrkowska Street, which locals will tell you is where the city’s energy really lives, but you’re far enough away that you can retreat when you need to recharge. I found myself walking to little cafes and restaurants that I never would have discovered if I’d stayed in the more obvious tourist areas. The residence sits in this sweet spot where you can easily explore Łódź’s cultural scene – the museums, the revitalized industrial spaces, all that creative energy the city’s known for – but then come back to somewhere that feels genuinely restful. And look, I’ve stayed in places with higher star ratings that left me completely cold, but there’s something about how this place operates that just works. Maybe it’s that they’re not trying to be everything to everyone, they’re just focused on being really good at what they do.   The location is great: just outside the cool OFF with many restaurants and some shops. There is also a shopping mall nearby and you are literally a few steps from the long pedestrian street with many shops, cafes, ice cream bars and restaurants. A walking distance to Manufaktura.

  The room is very quiet: no noise from other rooms, the hallway or from outside.
  
  Communications with the host were smooth and friendly, and I was even able to check in early.
  
  There is a lift, so no need to carry heavy luggage in the stairs.
  
  What could be improved: The bed is quite soft but I still slept quite nicely but the softness might be too much for some.
  
  The bathroom is quite tiny. No problem if traveling solo.
  
  No place to put your shampoo and other stuff in the shower.
