Rent-Apart City Center Narutowicza Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Rent-Apart City Center Narutowicza on that tree-lined stretch of Narutowicza street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty standard apartment building. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you from the outside.
The location is actually brilliant if you know Łódź at all. You’re right in Śródmieście, which means you can walk to Piotrkowska Street (the main pedestrian drag with all the bars and restaurants) in maybe ten minutes, but you’re just far enough off the beaten path that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM. I mean, Narutowicza is one of those residential streets where actual locals live – you’ll see people walking their dogs in the morning and kids heading to school, which honestly gives you a much better feel for the city than staying in some sterile hotel district. The tram stops are super close too, so getting around is pretty effortless.
What surprised me most was how spacious everything felt inside. These aren’t tiny hotel rooms – they’re proper apartments with kitchens you can actually cook in (I made pierogi one night, and yes, I felt very accomplished). The furnishings are modern without being cold, sort of that Scandinavian-influenced style that’s everywhere in Poland now. Really solid WiFi too, which matters if you’re working remotely – I had zero issues with video calls. The bathrooms are well-designed with decent water pressure, though I’d bring your own fancy toiletries since they keep it pretty basic on that front. One thing I appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Even though you’re in the city center, the windows do a good job blocking out street noise, and the building itself is well-insulated.
Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no hovering desk clerk trying to upsell you on breakfast or spa packages. The staff actually knows the neighborhood and can point you toward the good pierogi place around the corner (not the touristy one everyone finds online). Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving – street parking fills up during the day, but there are options nearby if you’re willing to walk a block or two. I’d definitely recommend this place if you want to feel like you’re living in Łódź rather than just visiting it. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re getting for the price point – it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done and genuinely comfortable. Plus, there’s something nice about having your own space to spread out after a day of exploring the city’s incredible street art scene and industrial history.
Early hotels booking in Lodz requires advance planning during peak festival seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s renowned film culture and revitalized districts.

Очень удобное заселение. Чистая комната. Очень просторная душевая комната. Только вот чайник не работал и если вам мешает шум машин, т.к окна выходят на дорогу. А так, я очень рекомендую 🙂 приехала б снова.

Cosy apartment in the city centre. You can find everything you need at the apartment .
Modern, well-equipped studio in excellent location. – Lucasvok from Greece – June 17, 2024 (8/10)
Excellent location, short and easy walking distance both to Lodz Fabryczna as well as to Piotrkowska street. A lot of possibilities to shop/eat/have a drink nearby. Modern, safe, clean building, with a nice elevator. Owners reply kindly and very quickly to all requests. The studio is fully equipped. A very good choice for Lodz, despite the aspects below.
What could be improved: Details that make the stay just below excellent:
The room was facing the street and it was noisy – sometimes very noisy, even with closed windows. If there is a choice, opt for a studio looking to the internal yard.
The bed was not very comfortable.
WiFI was available but not very stable, there were often interruptions.
Instructions on how to get in/out of the building should be just a bit more detailed, as this system is not common everywhere in Europe.
The above did not really spoil the stay though, I would definitely stay there again.Central location and good value for the money. – Guldbrandsen from Sweden – December 14, 2023 (9/10)
Perfect location close to Lodz Fabryczna and Piotrkowska street.
Newly built, very fresh and clean with all facilities that can be expected.
This studio apartment is suitable for a single traveller or a couple.
What could be improved: The bed was a little bit to hard.No doubt: good place! – Walter from Germany – October 6, 2023 (8/10)
There was a technical problem with the main access door to the building lot. Time was something like 22:30 or so. I sent a message to the host/service via booking message and I received assistance within two minutes. That’s how it should be and to me that’s a great reason to recommend this place. Everything else was exactly as it was advertised. One more thing: the elevator is large enough for a bicycle to roll in!
