R-Apartments Overview

You know what surprised me most about R-Apartments? How quiet it actually gets at night, even though you’re right in the thick of Śródmieście. I mean, Rewolucji street isn’t exactly a sleepy side road – there’s definitely some urban buzz during the day – but once evening rolls around, the sound just sort of… disappears. Maybe it’s the way these older Łódź buildings are constructed, with those thick walls that have seen decades of city life.

The apartments themselves feel more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel, which honestly works in their favor. Each unit has this lived-in comfort that you don’t get with cookie-cutter rooms. The kitchenettes are actually functional too – I’m talking real counter space and appliances that work properly, not those tiny hotel fridges that barely keep your water cold. During my stay, I noticed other guests picking up groceries from the small market just down the street, which tells you something about how people use this place. The 8.9 rating makes total sense when you realize you’re getting apartment living with hotel convenience.

What really sold me on the location was being able to walk to Piotrkowska Street in about ten minutes – that’s Łódź’s main pedestrian strip where all the action happens. But here’s the thing locals know: you’re close enough to easily get there for dinner or drinks, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with weekend crowds stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The tram connections from this area are solid too, though honestly, most of what you’ll want to see in central Łódź is walkable from here. Parking was surprisingly straightforward when I visited in spring, though I’d imagine it gets trickier during the busier summer months when more people are exploring the city. The staff – well, they run things pretty smoothly without being overly formal about it, which fits the whole apartment vibe perfectly.

  Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Łazienki bardzo czyste i ładne. Pokoje są bardzo przytulne, czyste i nowe 🙂 Odebranie kluczy jest bardzo proste, kontakt z właścicielem też jest bardzo dobry. Na miejscu jest parking.
  
  What could be improved: Kamienica bardzo stara, trochę odstraszająca. W popołudniowych godzinach nie ma szans na zaparkowanie na parkingu, trzeba zostawiać samochód na parkingu miejskim.
