You know what struck me first about Primo Premium by LookAp? The location on Tramwajowa Street is honestly perfect if you want to actually experience Łódź rather than just pass through it. I mean, you’re right in Śródmieście – the heart of the city – but it doesn’t feel touristy or overwhelming. When I walked out in the morning, there were locals grabbing coffee and heading to work, trams rumbling by every few minutes, and you get this genuine sense of being part of the city’s daily rhythm.

The hotel itself feels refreshingly unpretentious for a place that calls itself “premium.” It’s a solid 3-star that doesn’t try to be something it’s not, which I actually appreciated. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully designed – nothing fancy, but someone clearly paid attention to the details that matter. The shower pressure was excellent (always my first test), and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. I slept really well, even with the occasional tram passing by, though honestly the street noise wasn’t bad at all. The staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions, and check-in was smooth even when I arrived later than expected.

What really won me over was how this place puts you within easy walking distance of Łódź’s best stuff without the inflated prices you’d pay closer to Piotrkowska Street. You can stroll to the main shopping areas in about ten minutes, but you’re also close to some of the more interesting, less obvious parts of the city that most visitors miss. The neighborhood has this great mix of local restaurants and cafés where you’ll actually hear Polish being spoken – not just tourist English. Parking was straightforward too, which if you’ve driven in Polish cities, you know that’s not always a given. I’d definitely stay here again, especially considering that 8.4 rating reflects what you actually get: a comfortable, well-located place that delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.
