I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Primo I by LookAp on Tramwajowa Street, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. It’s tucked into this residential area in Śródmieście, and from the outside it looks pretty understated. But you know what? Sometimes those are exactly the places that surprise you.

The whole setup here is actually quite clever – they’ve taken what feels like a converted building and turned it into something that works really well for travelers who want to be in the heart of Łódź without dealing with the typical hotel scene. I mean, Tramwajowa literally means “tram street,” and there’s good reason for that name. You can hear the trams occasionally, but it’s more of a gentle city soundtrack than anything disruptive. What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood – when I asked about getting to Piotrkowska Street (which, let’s face it, is where most people want to end up), they didn’t just point me toward a map. They actually walked me outside and showed me the exact tram stop to use, mentioned which direction gets crowded during rush hour, that sort of thing.

The rooms themselves hit that sweet spot between basic and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but everything works – and honestly, after staying in some overly designed places that forget about practical stuff like decent lighting and enough outlets, I found myself appreciating the straightforward approach here. The beds are proper comfortable, which matters more than most people realize until they’re trying to sleep on something that looks great but feels like a board. What struck me most was how quiet it gets at night, despite being right in the city center. I think it’s because you’re just off the main drag – close enough to walk to everything worth seeing, but far enough to actually get some rest. The whole area around here has that lived-in feel that tourist districts often lack, with actual grocery stores and cafes where locals go, not just visitor traps. And parking, if you’re driving, is actually manageable around here – not something you can say about every part of Łódź these days.

  What could be improved: Ванна кімната: попередні коментатори неодноразово вказувати на проблему у душовій, так воно і було. Дивно, що власник не усунув проблему.
  Не вистачає кондиціонера. Погана ветиляція.
  Ми орендували апартаменти на трьох, а одія було тільки два.
  Нам була важлива повноцінна кухня. Насправді все відповідало опису. Проблеми виникли з морозильною камерою холодильника, яка давно не розморожувалась і полиці не виймались.
  Також вказана безкоштовна парковка для автомобіля, що не зовсім відповідає дійсності, і запаркуватись там особливий квест)

  Lokalizacja korzystna, apartament bardzo czysty i bardzo ciepły. Dobrze wyposażony, na 2 dniowy pobyt dla rodziny z dzieckiem wystarczający. Polecam, miejsce bardzo dobre na nocleg.
  
  What could be improved: Do poprawki jest prysznic, brak właściwego spływu. Właściciel apartamentu na pewno zna problem doskonale, bo widoczne są próby maskowania skutków zalań chociażby na futrynie. To jedyny mały minus.

  Location is perfect, very clean, quiet area and neighbours. Everything you need for short stay is there. Close to shops, centrum, public transport. If you travel by car plenty free parking on the roads. Great communication with host, very quickly respond to messages.
  
  What could be improved: Walk in shower in bathroom, after mine and children shower floor was very wet. Bathmat was wet and mop was broken so couldn’t dry bathroom floor properly. Is clearly design fault, maybe shower curtain would help.

  Everything. This is the second time I stayed in these apartments and luckily enough, I even got the same room that I stayed in 6 months ago. In my last stay I noted some disadvantages of the apartment and believe it or not, everything I noted previously has been fixed, bathroom walls repainted, sockets fixed and new things added. I was very satisfied with my stay 🙂
  
  What could be improved: The washing machine is there and last time the washing liquid was provided, but this time the liquid was missing, so I had to buy my own.

  What could be improved: The cleanness was poor. Very poor. The floors were filthy and so was the whole shower I found hair in the shower on the wall tiles. It was disgusting I had to go Auchan and buy my own cleaning supplies to make everything sterile as I was with my one year old. It was never this dirty I’ve stayed in this flat in November and it was very clean then however it seems like somebody didn’t do a good job before we arrived there again in June.
