I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Premium Glamour by LookAp, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Sounds a bit flashy, right? But after spending a few nights here on Wschodnia Street, I get it. This place actually delivers on that “premium” promise without being stuffy about it.

The location is pretty brilliant if you know Łódź at all. You’re right in Śródmieście, which means you can walk to Piotrkowska Street (the main drag) in about ten minutes, but you’re tucked away enough that you won’t hear the weekend party crowd stumbling home at 3 AM. I mean, Wschodnia is one of those streets that locals use as a shortcut, so there’s some traffic during the day, but nothing that’ll keep you awake. The building itself caught me off guard – it’s got this modern facade that somehow doesn’t clash with the older architecture around it, which is honestly pretty rare in this part of the city.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to feel boutique-ish despite being a 3-star place. The rooms are genuinely stylish (not just trying to be Instagram-worthy), and you know what? Everything actually works. The shower has proper water pressure, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d wrestled with the mattress all night. There’s this attention to small details that you don’t always see – like, the lighting is warm and actually functional for reading, and they’ve got enough outlets that you’re not doing some weird charging dance with your devices. The staff seems to genuinely care about the place too, which makes a difference. During check-in, the woman at reception gave me these super specific directions to a great pierogi spot around the corner that definitely wasn’t in any guidebook.

Here’s the thing about staying here – you get that sense of being in a real neighborhood rather than some tourist bubble. In the morning, you’ll see people heading to work, kids walking to school, and there’s this little bakery two blocks down where the locals actually go for their coffee (skip the hotel breakfast and try the szarlotka there, trust me). The area comes alive in the evening too, but in a good way – people meeting friends, couples out for dinner, that kind of vibe. If you’re the type who wants to experience Łódź like someone who actually lives there rather than just hitting the obvious tourist spots, this is your place. Plus, with a 9 out of 10 rating, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks they’re doing something right here.

  What could be improved: Stosunek wyglądu apartamentu do ilości wyposażenia. Mieszkanie piękne ale niestety odliczone sztućce czy naczynia wpływają na taki opis. Wygląd apartamentu już zobowiązuje do paru sztućców czy kubków więcej. Brakowało np. Jednego widelca.

  What could be improved: Brak oddzielnych kołder dla każdej osób. Na wyposażeniu 2 kołdry mimo wynajęcia dla 4 osób. Nie można zakładać że będą to pary. Ostatecznie przyjechały 3 osoby, jedna noc bez poszewki na kołdrę Przy 4 osobach mielibyśmy problem. Jedyna rzecz ale bardzo ważna.

  Beautiful apartment, decorations are really thought out., very chic. Almost everything that is needed is available, kettle, pots, pans. Clean, big bathroom, very pretty. Shop just behind the corner.

  Good general location being central, walking distance to the main parts of the city. The kitsch vibe was amusing, everything in black and gold. It was a fun experience.
  
  What could be improved: My fault that I didn't read the description fully – there is no bed. The ad mentioned "there is a sofa that pulls out into a bed" which I assumed (incorrectly!) that was in case you have more people staying. For this apartment, a bed would have been better.
  
  First impression was good…loved the exposed bricks but somewhat let down with some paper in the toilet. It's the little things that make a big difference.
  
  The actual flat is ground floor and right at the entrance to the building – which means noise echoes and invariably you are woken up by loud (drunken) chatter and shouting at silly hours in the morning. This isn't a fault with the host apartment per se, but…there's no avoiding the noise. You can't close the windows as it'll be too hot. That was coupled with an uncomfortable sofa which made the sleeping experience a negative one.
  
  Shame no dedicated parking spot, even though there seems to be plenty of space. Even if you can find a spot, parking is paid on weekdays, but free on weekends.
