What struck me about staying here was how the building itself tells the story of Łódź – you can feel the history in the architecture, but it’s been updated enough that you’re not dealing with Soviet-era plumbing nightmares. The street can get a bit lively on weekends (it’s the main drag, after all), but that’s part of the charm of being right in the center of things. You’ll hear some street music and late-night conversations, but it dies down pretty reasonably. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving – the pedestrian zone means you’ll need to find spots on the side streets or use one of the nearby lots, but honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t need the car much. The whole Śródmieście district is walkable, and the trams connect you to the rest of the city easily enough. I’d say this place works best for people who want to experience Łódź rather than just sleep somewhere convenient – though it manages to be both, really.

  Centric location, public transport within immediate reach, staff was very friendly:) heating, extra blankets, kettle and tea in the room. I loved the old vibe of the building, it reminded me of an castle. Very lovely!

  Ogólnie pokój czysty, ktoś dowcipnie zamontował wodę tam gdzie niebieski kolor to leciała ciepła woda, a tam gdzie czerwony to zimna :). Materace w łózkach wygodne, ciepła woda i ciepło w pokoju.

  Przemiły Pan dozorca, wygodny pokój w sam raz na pobyt weekendowy, idealny stosunek jakości do ceny, bliskość przystanku tramwajowego, autobusowego, bliskość spacerem do samego centrum, sklep Żabka naprzeciwko obiektu czynny do 23.00, widok z okna na katedrę łódzką, spory przestrzenny, jasny pokój dla 2 osób.
  
  What could be improved: Jedyny minus to okno wychodzące na ulicę, przy której jest przystanek tramwajowy zaraz naprzeciwko obiektu. Co moment do godziny 24:00 do ostatniego „nocnego”, jeździły tramwaje oraz samochody i motocykle, a tak się złożyło, że przy półokrągłym placu przed pałacykiem akustyka była wręcz podwojona i było bardzo głośno. Przy zamkniętym oknie nie ma takiego problemu.
