The thing about this part of Łódź is that it’s actually really peaceful – you’re far enough from the hustle of Piotrkowska Street (the main drag where all the tourists end up) but still close enough that you can walk to the good stuff in about fifteen minutes. I mean, the neighborhood itself is pretty residential, lots of pre-war buildings that have this weathered charm to them. The apartment sits in one of these older blocks, and honestly, the entrance doesn’t look like much from the street. But once you get inside, it’s like stepping into someone’s well-loved home rather than a sterile hotel room. The owners have clearly put thought into the details – the lighting is warm and actually functional (you know how hotel lighting can be terrible), and there’s this lived-in comfort that makes you want to kick off your shoes immediately.

What really got me was how quiet it gets at night. In a city, that’s gold, especially when you’re trying to recover from exploring Łódź all day. The windows face away from the main street, so you don’t get the usual urban soundtrack of traffic and late-night revelers. Parking was surprisingly easy too – there’s street parking right outside, and during my stay in late spring, I never had trouble finding a spot. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, none of that corporate hotel rigmarole. Actually, the whole experience felt more like staying at a friend’s place than a commercial accommodation. The kitchen area is small but functional – I made coffee there every morning and even managed to put together a simple breakfast with stuff from the nearby Żabka convenience store. Speaking of nearby, there’s a decent restaurant called Anatewka just a few streets over that serves proper Polish comfort food, the kind of place locals actually go to. The apartment itself maintains that “beige” aesthetic the name promises, but it works – everything feels cohesive and calming rather than boring. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, but sometimes you just want a place that feels like home base while you’re exploring a new city. For a 3-star place with a 9 rating, it absolutely delivers on that promise without trying to be something it’s not.

  W mieszkaniu było czysto, przytulnie. Kuchnia na nasze potrzeby była dobrze wyposażona. Wszystkie,zawarte w opisie udogodnienia, znajdowały się w mieszkaniu.

  Nie było pilota do bramy na zamykany parking, zapewniony w ofercie. Musieliśmy samodzielnie szukać dla siebie miejsca bezpiecznego miejsca postojowego :/
