Piotrkowska Street III by LookAp Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Piotrkowska Street III by LookAp feels like discovering a well-kept secret right in the middle of Łódź’s most famous street. The building itself has that restored Polish charm — you know, the kind where they’ve kept the historical bones but made everything inside actually work properly. I’ll be honest, the entrance is pretty understated, but that’s part of what I liked about it. No flashy lobby trying too hard to impress, just clean lines and that feeling that someone actually thought about how real people would use this space.
The Heart of Piotrkowska
Here’s the thing about staying on Piotrkowska Street — you’re literally in the center of everything that matters in Łódź. This four-star property sits at number 67, which means you can walk to pretty much any restaurant, bar, or cultural spot without breaking a sweat. I mean, couples are rating the location 9.3 out of 10, and honestly, I get it. You step outside and there’s this incredible pedestrian boulevard stretching in both directions, lined with cafes where locals actually hang out. The tram stops are right there too, so getting to other parts of the city is ridiculously easy.
Your Space
The room I stayed in was what I’d call thoughtfully modern — not trying to be trendy, just genuinely comfortable. The windows face Piotrkowska, so you get this great view of the street life below, though the soundproofing is solid enough that you won’t be kept awake by late-night revelers. What really impressed me was the attention to practical details: proper lighting for reading, enough outlets where you actually need them, and a bathroom that feels spacious even though the building footprint is clearly historical. The beds are genuinely comfortable too — sometimes you don’t realize how much that matters until you’re actually trying to sleep.
The Neighborhood Experience
Staying here means you’re part of the daily rhythm of Łódź’s cultural district. In the morning, you’ll see locals grabbing coffee at the little places that have been here for decades. By evening, the street transforms into this vibrant social scene — not touristy, just authentically Polish urban life. There’s something special about being able to wander down to grab dinner at one of the traditional Polish restaurants, then maybe catch some live music at one of the bars, all within a few blocks. The location score of 9.4 isn’t just marketing speak — it really does feel like you’re exactly where you want to be.
Why Guests Love It
What sets this place apart is how it balances being right in the action with actually giving you a peaceful place to recharge. You’re not dealing with the sterile corporate hotel experience, but you’re also not sacrificing comfort for character. The staff clearly knows the neighborhood well — they’ll point you toward the good stuff without the usual tourist trap recommendations. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about having this historic Polish street as your backdrop, with all the spontaneous discoveries that come from being so centrally located. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay because you realize you’ve found the perfect base for exploring Łódź properly.

Location was great, size of the flat was great as well
What could be improved: Bathroom smelled very bad and it would spread to other rooms if the door was left open. The mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable, it felt like the springs were very old. The coffee machine was listed on the page however it wasn't in the apartment. The fridge was broken, a small one was provided in the flat however there was no communication to inform us of this inconvenienceWonderful – Dominika from Poland – February 28, 2025 (9/10)

Mostly clean.
What could be improved: Cook top and coffee machine did not work, terrible for a family that rented an apartment to have food cooking possibilities for the kid.
Showerhead and toilet roll holder loose, not a big problem but a bit annoying.
Windows can easily be opened by a kid and danger of falling down.
5 different keys to get inside the apartment.Good apartment – Juliasadovskaya from Ukraine – March 31, 2023 (10/10)
