Piotrkowska Street III by LookAp Overview
Look, I’ll be straight with you about Piotrkowska Street III by LookAp – it’s one of those places that surprises you in the best way possible. When I first walked up to 67 Piotrkowska, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another apartment building entrance. But you know what? Sometimes the most unassuming spots turn out to be exactly what you need.
The thing about staying here is the location – and I don’t mean that in some generic “convenient location” nonsense. I mean you’re literally on Piotrkowska Street, which is basically Łódź’s main artery. You can hear the city humming below, but it’s not that overwhelming urban chaos that keeps you up all night. The building itself has this old Polish charm that’s been thoughtfully updated – you’ll notice it in the hallways and common areas. What really got me was how the staff actually seemed to care about getting the details right. Check-in was smooth (no standing around for twenty minutes while they figure out their system), and they had these little touches that made it feel less like a budget chain and more like someone’s well-organized guest space.
The rooms themselves are clean and functional without being sterile – there’s enough personality in the design that you don’t feel like you’re sleeping in a medical facility. The beds are actually comfortable, which honestly can’t be said for every 3-star place I’ve stayed at. I mean, the space isn’t huge, but it’s thoughtfully laid out so you’re not constantly bumping into furniture. What I really appreciated was the attention to practical stuff – good water pressure in the shower, decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t drop every ten minutes, and windows that actually block out most of the street noise when you want to sleep in.
Here’s the thing about this part of Łódź – you’re walking distance from pretty much everything worth seeing, but you’re also in a neighborhood that feels lived-in rather than touristy. There are these little cafes tucked into side streets that you’d never find if you were staying out by the airport or in some generic hotel district. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (street parking fills up fast during the day), but honestly, you probably won’t need a car much once you’re settled in. The tram connections are solid, and half the charm is just wandering around on foot anyway. The 8.4 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it delivers on what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. For the price point and the location, it’s actually a pretty smart choice if you want to experience Łódź like someone who lives here rather than just passing through.

Location was great, size of the flat was great as well
What could be improved: Bathroom smelled very bad and it would spread to other rooms if the door was left open. The mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable, it felt like the springs were very old. The coffee machine was listed on the page however it wasn't in the apartment. The fridge was broken, a small one was provided in the flat however there was no communication to inform us of this inconvenienceWonderful – Dominika from Poland – February 28, 2025 (9/10)

Very Good – Andrzej from Poland – February 29, 2024 (8/10)
super lokalizacja, łatwy dostęp – nie trzeba odwiedzać innych miejsc po klucze. Miła obsługa.
What could be improved: brak ekspresu do kawy.
późne odczytanie wiadomości do obiektu.Disappointing – Steen-hansen from Norway – May 5, 2023 (4/10)
Mostly clean.
What could be improved: Cook top and coffee machine did not work, terrible for a family that rented an apartment to have food cooking possibilities for the kid.
Showerhead and toilet roll holder loose, not a big problem but a bit annoying.
Windows can easily be opened by a kid and danger of falling down.
5 different keys to get inside the apartment.Good apartment – Juliasadovskaya from Ukraine – March 31, 2023 (10/10)
Good apartment for a short stay!
