Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Piotrkowska Street I by LookAp, I was a bit skeptical. Another apartment-style place on Łódź’s main drag? But after staying there twice now (once for work, once just because), I get why this place has such a crazy high rating.

The location is actually perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without the tourist trap feeling. You’re right at number 67 on Piotrkowska, which means you can stumble to some of the best bars and cafes in the city – I mean, Prozak 2.0 is literally around the corner, and if you’re into craft beer, you’ve got to try Piwoteka. The street itself transforms completely after dark, so don’t be surprised if there’s some buzz outside on weekends. Honestly though, the windows do a decent job keeping the noise manageable, and let’s face it – if you’re staying on Piotrkowska, you probably want to be part of the action anyway.

What really got me about this place is how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between hotel service and apartment freedom. The apartment (it’s on the second floor, lok. 24 – don’t worry, there’s an elevator) feels like someone’s actually stylish friend lives there, not like some corporate designer picked everything from a catalog. The kitchen’s properly equipped too, which saved my wallet during a longer stay. You know what I appreciated most? The little touches – decent coffee in the cupboard, proper hangers in the closet, actually good Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out during video calls. The kind of stuff that makes you think someone who travels regularly set this place up.

The check-in process is smooth – they send you all the codes beforehand, so no awkward lobby waiting or hunting down keys. Though I will say, the building entrance can be a bit tricky to spot at night (look for the small sign), but once you’re in, everything’s clearly marked. The Śródmieście neighborhood itself is having this whole renaissance moment – you’ve got the revitalized Manufaktura just a short walk away, but more importantly, you’re surrounded by these incredible pre-war buildings that somehow survived everything this city’s been through. Actually, if you’re into architecture or just like wandering around with good coffee, this area’s going to keep you busy.

I keep coming back because it hits that rare balance – professional enough that I can bring clients nearby for meetings at some of the co-working spaces that have popped up along the street, but relaxed enough that I can cook breakfast in my pajamas and feel at home. Plus, with a 9.3 rating, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks they’ve figured something out here. Just book early if you’re planning to visit during any of the summer festivals – Piotrkowska gets packed, and the good places fill up fast.

  Świetna lokalizacja. Środek Piotrkowskiej, wszędzie blisko. Apartament czyściutki, przestronny, wyposażony we wszystko co niezbędne (talerze, kubki, kieliszki, garnki, patelnie, zmywarka, pralka, piekarnik, żelazko, suszarka do prania, duża szafa, lodówka, tv, ekspres do kawy – niestety nie znalazłam kapsułek). Z kranu wrzątek leci, można prosiaka oprawiać, dla mnie idealnie. W tym samym podwórku pizzeria i druga restauracjo-kawiarnia gdzie również można piwko kupić.
  
  What could be improved: Minusem jest 3 piętro bez windy (stara kamienica), ale wiedziałam o tym przed przyjazdem.

  Mieszkanie wygląda dokładnie tak jak na zdjęciach, jest czyściutkie i ciche. Wejście przez klimatycznie podwórze z kilkoma knajpkami. Rewelacyjna lokalizacja!
