Piotrkowska pasaż Schillera by LookAp Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Piotrkowska pasaż Schillera by LookAp, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The name’s a bit of a mouthful, and from the outside it looks like just another building on Łódź’s famous main strip. But you know what? Sometimes those unassuming places surprise you the most.
The location is actually pretty brilliant if you want to experience real Łódź life. You’re right at Piotrkowska 115, which puts you smack in the middle of everything without being in one of those touristy bubbles. I mean, step outside and you’ve got the whole pedestrian zone stretching in both directions – cafés, bars, that quirky mix of restored tenements and slightly rough-around-the-edges buildings that gives this city its character. The pasaż itself (that’s the covered passage, for anyone not familiar with Polish architecture) has this old-world industrial vibe that Łódź does so well. You can actually hear the trams rumbling by in the morning, which I found oddly comforting rather than annoying.
What struck me most about this place is how it manages to feel both historic and functional at the same time. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but honestly, when you’re paying 3-star prices in central Łódź, you’re getting solid value. The staff actually knows the neighborhood, which is rarer than you’d think. They pointed me toward this little milk bar (bar mleczny) around the corner that I never would have found otherwise, and gave me proper walking directions to the Manufaktura shopping center instead of just saying “it’s close.” The building itself has that slightly creaky charm of converted older architecture – you’ll hear your neighbors a bit, but it’s not the kind of paper-thin walls that’ll ruin your sleep.
I spent most evenings just wandering Piotrkowska Street, ducking into different pubs and watching the mix of university students and locals. The hotel’s position means you can walk to most of Śródmieście’s main attractions, though honestly, the street itself is half the attraction. During the day there’s a steady flow of foot traffic, but it quiets down nicely by late evening. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’ve got a car – the pedestrian zone means you’ll need to find a spot on one of the side streets, but that’s pretty standard for this part of the city. Check-in was straightforward, though I’d recommend brushing up on a few Polish phrases or having your phone translator ready, since English isn’t universal among the staff. That 7.3 rating feels about right to me – it’s not going to wow you with luxury, but it does exactly what it promises in a location that lets you actually experience Łódź rather than just pass through it.
Apartments in Lodz provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Polish markets and cook with regional culinary specialties.

Reviews of Piotrkowska pasaż Schillera by LookAp
Super Lage, Preis/Leistung stimmt – Sunny2110 from Germany – August 2, 2025 (7/10)
Super Lage, alles fußläufig zu erreichen wie Museen, Manufactura und Piotrkowska Läden und Restaurants. Im Gebäude gibts einen Fahrstuhl.
What could be improved: Der täglich morgendliche Uringestank im Hauseingang. 2 Rollos waren leider defekt, das man Zimmer nicht abdunkeln konnte. Stöpsel für Spüle zum Aufwaschen fehlte.Very Good – Aleksander from Poland – July 18, 2025 (8/10)
