Piotrkowska Mainstreet & Secure Overview
You know what struck me first about Piotrkowska Mainstreet & Secure? The name actually tells you everything you need to know – it’s right there on Piotrkowska Street, which honestly is where you want to be in Łódź. I mean, this is basically the main artery of the city, the longest commercial street in Europe (locals love dropping that fact), and you’re literally stepping out the front door into the heart of everything.
The hotel itself is proper 3-star territory – nothing fancy, but they’ve got the fundamentals down solid. That 8.3 rating makes sense once you’re there because it’s one of those places that just… works. The rooms are clean and comfortable without trying to be something they’re not, and honestly, after spending days walking around Łódź’s incredible street art scene and poking into all those converted factory spaces, you just want somewhere reliable to crash. The “secure” part of the name isn’t just marketing fluff either – the building feels safe, which matters when you’re dragging luggage around a city you don’t know well. I noticed they’re pretty good about the whole check-in process too, no weird delays or confused desk staff.
What really sells this place though is the location – and I don’t mean that in a generic “convenient location” way. You’re in Śródmieście, the city center, which means you can walk to Manufaktura (that massive shopping and entertainment complex in the old factory buildings) without breaking a sweat. The street itself is this fascinating mix of restored 19th-century buildings, quirky cafes, and some surprisingly good restaurants that you’d never find unless you were actually staying right there. Plus, if you’re into the whole industrial heritage thing that Łódź does so well, you’re perfectly positioned to explore without constantly figuring out trams or taxis. The street can get a bit lively on weekend evenings – not rowdy exactly, but there’s definitely some energy from the bars and clubs nearby. Honestly though, it’s the good kind of city noise that makes you feel like you’re actually somewhere interesting rather than stuck in some sterile hotel district.

What could be improved: Źle wytłumaczone jak odnaleźć pilot do bramy, przez co miałem trochę stresu.
Wonderful – Maciej from Poland – July 27, 2025 (9/10)
Lokalizacja to ogromny atut – mogliśmy spacerować po Piotrkowskiej o każdej porze dnia i nocy, chłonąc atmosferę miasta bez konieczności korzystania z transportu.
Zdecydowanie polecamy to miejsce każdemu, kto chce poczuć klimat Łodzi i jednocześnie mieć komfortowy nocleg w idealnej lokalizacji.

A comfortable and well-located stay with a slightly tricky check-in process. – Tharindu from Ireland – April 19, 2025 (9/10)
The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and came with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. It's located right in the heart of the city, which made it super convenient to access the main street, pubs, restaurants, and shopping spots—definitely a big plus!
What could be improved: However, finding the entrance was quite challenging. The instructions could have been clearer, especially for first-time visitors. We had to park the car outside, go in on foot to locate the key and gate remote, then return to the car and drive around again to access the apartment through a small alley. A bit of a hassle after a long journey.Good – Emilia from Poland – March 29, 2025 (7/10)
Świetna lokalizacja, wszędzie blisko.
What could be improved: Byłam tam zima i w pokojach było przeraźliwie zimno, pomimo grzejników ustawionych na max.Very Good – Kamil from Poland – August 6, 2024 (8/10)
Blisko centrum
What could be improved: Brak windyGood – Helena from Estonia – July 15, 2024 (7/10)
The location was good.
What could be improved: At first, there were problems getting into the apartment, but fortunately, the apartment owner responded very quickly and the issue was resolved.
The apartment was dirty, there were long black hairs in the bed, and it seemed the sheets had not been changed. The beds were very uncomfortable.Avoid for Friday & Saturday nights, when the disco next door stops only at 6 AM. – Adam from Czech Republic – July 15, 2023 (5/10)
The owner was helpful in arranging the parking before our arrival, the place is nice and very spacy (though it does not have a kitchen). It had two bathrooms, a balcony, and the interior was fine, including the beds. The location is very central, which is rather good in some sense, but…
What could be improved: …central location doesn't really come as an advantage on Fri or Sat night. There is a disco playing extremely loud, so you feel it's like the next room (and its DJs are actually quite bad, two blocks away, but I suppose the location of the flat on 4th floor actually makes it worse) – and it doesn't stop until around 5-6 AM. So if you're with kids or you're not the kind of guy sleeping in front of amplifiers at a techno party, it certainly isn't a good place to choose. At the same time, in the summer you can't really close the windows, because the place doesn't have AC, so you'd collapse from the heat. While I knew Piotrkowska is a lively street, I didn't anticipate that level of noise – especially when the place is labeled "Secure Quiet Spot".
I believe it's a cool place except Fri/Sat (or if you party till morning yourselves).Exceptional – Elinga from Lithuania – April 10, 2023 (10/10)
It was great appartment for one night stay for our 10 people company.
