Piotrkowska-ll-70m Central Cosy&FreeParking Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Piotrkowska-ll-70m Central Cosy&FreeParking, I thought someone had a field day with the booking system. But you know what? Sometimes the most awkwardly named places surprise you, and this little apartment on Piotrkowska Street actually delivered more than I expected.
The location is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the thick of things in Łódź. You’re literally on Piotrkowska – I mean, this is THE street everyone talks about, the main pedestrian drag that stretches forever through the city center. From the apartment, you can walk to Manufaktura in about fifteen minutes (that massive shopping and cultural complex in the old factory buildings), and honestly, you’ll pass about a dozen cafes and bars just getting there. The Srodmiescie district can get a bit lively on weekend nights – nothing crazy, but you’ll hear some street chatter if you’re a light sleeper. During the week though, it’s surprisingly quiet for such a central spot.
What I really appreciated was the free parking situation – and trust me, this is huge in central Łódź. Most places either charge you an arm and a leg or you’re circling blocks looking for street parking. The apartment itself is cozy in that genuine way, not the “cozy” that means cramped. The 70 square meters actually feels spacious enough, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup. It’s clean, functional, has decent WiFi (I was working remotely for part of my stay), and the kitchen had everything I needed for simple meals. The check-in was pretty straightforward – no fancy lobby or concierge, just practical key handoff and clear instructions.
I spent a good chunk of time just wandering Piotrkowska Street, which becomes this interesting mix of restored Art Nouveau buildings and communist-era blocks as you walk along. There’s this great pierogi place called Przystań maybe three blocks down that locals actually eat at – not just tourists. And if you’re into the whole post-industrial vibe, the proximity to all those converted factory spaces is really something. The building itself isn’t going to win any architectural awards, but it fits right into that authentic Łódź aesthetic where function comes before flash. For a three-star place, it punches above its weight in terms of location and value. Sure, it’s not luxury, but sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable base to explore from without paying hotel prices for amenities you won’t use anyway.

The perfect place to stay in Lodz, we will stay again in the future – Katarzyna from United Kingdom – May 20, 2025 (10/10)
Amazing communication, great location and fantastic facilities
Super lokalizacja – Marta from Poland – August 8, 2024 (9/10)
What could be improved: Brak ciepłej wody
Would not recommend this place, owners are rude and trying to scam people. – Richard from Australia – August 7, 2023 (1/10)
This was a terrible property. The owners are scammers and tried to get extra money out of us with lies. Would never recommend this place and have reported to booking.com as scammers
What could be improved: This building is derelict and has not been looked after. The bedding was old and tattered and owners tried scamming us to replace a lumpy mattressWonderful – Magda from Poland – August 1, 2023 (9/10)
Very Good – Inese from Latvia – July 31, 2023 (8/10)
The apartment is located in a quiet area in the city centre. Clean.
Exceptional – Zoltán from Hungary – June 20, 2023 (10/10)
It was perfect for us. Booking was easy and quick. Host explained everything well and overall we had a great experience.
What could be improved: Nothing comes to my mind.Reasonably priced, great location & clean living areas let down by seriously uncomfortable beds and nasty stained be – Therese from United Kingdom – June 1, 2023 (4/10)
What was good… The location of the apartment is fantastic, right on the main strip, dozens of bars and restaurants, a supermarket and chemist on the corner and easy walking distance to lots of museums and other sites. Generally it’s a good size, light and bright. Given it’s in a complex it was surprisingly quiet for neighbour noise. The couch in the lounge room was comfortable and there was some basic kitchen kit and other things like soap etc supplied. The staff were responsive and friendly in their online communication.
What could be improved: The bad…. the photos aren’t up to date and there is not as much lounge room furniture. This meant there were no places for us to sit comfortably as a group as only two people could sit on the sofa and there weren’t enough kitchen chairs for four. The main bedroom is pretty crowded as there are 2 x doubles in there now unlike the photos.
The beds in the single rooms were diabolically uncomfortable (doubles not as bad but not great) The mattress are super thin on slat bases and they poke through horribly.
One of these single beds had broken slats and collapsed in the middle of our first night there. This room also had only one electrical socket which was hanging out of the wall and there was also a hole in the ceiling above the bed – the bed slats and electrical socket were fixed by a handyman when I reported them to the staff the next morning.
The bedding provided was a real mixed bag. The double beds had fitted sheets so thin you see through them. One of the singles had no fitted sheet but instead something that looked like a polyester curtain laid over it that was too short to cover the mattress and felt like sandpaper – this was made more grim by the stained mattress underneath. The worst was one of the single rooms that had a fitted sheet covered in stains and a pillow and duvet cover that smelt like vomit. When we asked for fresh bedding for this room we were told it had probably been put on wet by the cleaner and that fresh bedding would be delivered – this never arrived.
The boiler continually spent the whole night relighting the gas ignition. So there would be a loud ticking sound and then a bang as it lit, this could be heard through the whole flat and would happen every 5-10 mins throughout the night disturbing sleep.
The bathroom is only accessible by going into the main bedroom. This is a good deal for business trip, could be better but very convenient and well located. – Benon-le from Germany – May 24, 2023 (7/10)
The location is perfect.
the full flat is very convenient and confortable.
Fully furnished.
What could be improved: The wifi didn't work.
and it would be nice to have some water or snacks for the people who arrive late.Pleasant – Claudio from Czech Republic – January 3, 2023 (6/10)
Central position. The owners were available to solve a problem with the heating. Decent price quality ratio for 1/2 days stay, but would not choose it again.
What could be improved: The apartment was quite dirty, with old furniture (aside from the kitchen). The faucets in the bathroom and kitchen were loose, the beds were not very comfortable.Best Spot in Town – Paddy from United Kingdom – October 28, 2022 (10/10)
Amazing Place , will stay here again
