Piotrkowska-I- 75mCentral Cosy&FreeParking Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Piotrkowska-I- 75mCentral Cosy&FreeParking, I thought someone had a field day with the character limit on booking sites. But you know what? That ridiculously long name actually tells you everything you need to know about this place, and after staying there twice now, I get why they crammed it all in there.

The location is honestly fantastic – you’re right on Piotrkowska Street, which is basically Łódź’s answer to a European pedestrian boulevard. I mean, it’s not Paris, but there’s something really charming about being able to walk out your door and immediately be in the thick of things. The street itself stretches for miles (locals will tell you it’s one of Europe’s longest commercial streets, and they’re not wrong), lined with these beautifully restored 19th-century buildings that somehow survived everything history threw at them. What I love is that you get the energy of the main drag without the tourist trap feeling – this is where actual Łódź residents come to eat and hang out, especially around the Manufaktura shopping center which is maybe a 15-minute walk away.

The apartment itself lives up to that “cosy” promise in the name. It’s got this warm, lived-in feeling that’s way better than sterile hotel rooms – think exposed brick details, comfortable furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a catalog, and a kitchen that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the Żabka downstairs and make coffee in the morning. The free parking situation is genuinely a game-changer too, because anyone who’s tried to park in central Łódź knows it can be… well, let’s just say it’s not fun. They’ve got a dedicated spot that’s secure and literally saves you the headache of circling blocks looking for street parking. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done with good Wi-Fi, decent water pressure, and those little touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. The 7.7 rating makes sense to me because while everything works well and the location is unbeatable, the building itself is older (you’ll hear some street noise, especially on weekends when people are out late), and the décor is more “comfortable grandmother’s house” than “design magazine.” But honestly, that’s part of the charm – it feels authentic to Łódź, which has this wonderful mix of industrial grit and unexpected beauty that you don’t really find anywhere else in Poland.

Hotels in Lodz offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this creative metropolis, with easy access to museums, galleries, and former textile factories.
