Piotrkowska 89 Residence Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Piotrkowska 89 Residence? The moment you walk through that entrance on Poland’s longest pedestrian street, all the bustle just… disappears. I mean, you’re literally on Piotrkowska – this incredible artery that stretches for miles through Łódź’s heart – but somehow the hotel manages to cocoon you from all that energy when you need it.
The building itself has this understated elegance that feels very Łódź, if that makes sense. This city doesn’t show off like Warsaw or Krakow does, and neither does this place. The rooms are thoughtfully designed without being flashy, and honestly, the attention to detail surprised me. We’re talking about things like actually good water pressure (trust me, this matters after walking Piotrkowska all day) and blackout curtains that work – something you’ll appreciate since the street can stay lively pretty late, especially on weekends. The 9.3 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen; you feel it in how everything actually functions.
What I really love is how the location works in your favor. Sure, you’re right in Śródmieście, but Piotrkowska 89 puts you at this sweet spot where you can walk to pretty much everything worth seeing without being stuck in the absolute chaos of the main tourist zone. The old factories turned cultural spaces? Easy walk. That amazing market hall everyone talks about but tourists somehow miss? Ten minutes tops. And here’s something the booking sites won’t tell you – the hotel staff actually knows the neighborhood. Not just the obvious stuff, but which cafes open early (crucial for coffee people like me), where to find parking that won’t break the bank, and honestly, they steered us toward this incredible pierogi place that wasn’t in any guidebook but was packed with locals. The four-star rating feels right – it’s polished and professional without trying to be something it’s not. Check-in was smooth, the common areas feel lived-in rather than sterile, and there’s this sense that they’ve figured out how to be genuinely helpful without hovering. I appreciated that they didn’t oversell the city or the hotel itself – just gave us solid information and let us discover things ourselves.

Excellent location, easy check in, fantastic facilities (especially the complimentary water, tea, coffee and even a bottle of wine!), lovely staff, convenience of the breakfast restaurant and wine bar.
What could be improved: I really liked my stay, but if I had one wish it would be Aircon, although the room did have a ceiling fan which helped a bit.Exceptional – Federico from Italy – July 21, 2025 (10/10)

The location of the apartment was absolutely perfect, with convenient parking just nearby. The interior was beautiful — you could truly feel that everything was created with love, care, and a wonderful sense of style. It felt like home from the very first moment. We slept so well and truly enjoyed every moment of our stay.
We were especially touched by the thoughtful welcome gift — a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. It was such a kind and personal gesture that made us feel very welcome.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and every little detail was carefully thought out to make our stay perfect. We’re so grateful for this wonderful experience and will definitely choose the same apartment again on our next visit. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a warm, beautiful, and memorable place to stay!Exceptional – Joanna from Cyprus – July 7, 2025 (10/10)
I really liked everything about the apartments. Extremely clean and spacious and beautifully decorated. The best is that the location is right in the center of Piotrkowska street with all restaurants, bars, clubs ,mini markets and bigger supermarkets which is very convenient.

What could be improved: The only thing I didn't like was the fact that my room didn't match the pictures on booking
