The location is pretty genius if you think about it – you’re right in Łódź’s Bałuty district, which locals know as this up-and-coming area that’s way more affordable than the city center but still connected. I walked to the main pedestrian street Piotrkowska in about 20 minutes, though honestly, you might not want to leave once you see what this place has going on. The “zoo” part isn’t some massive safari experience (let’s be realistic), but they’ve got this charming little collection of animals that kids go absolutely mental for, and the aqua park section – well, it’s more like a really enthusiastic pool area with some slides, but it works. I watched families spend entire afternoons just rotating between the water features and animal enclosures, and the kids were having the time of their lives.

What surprised me most was how the “studio” element actually makes sense once you’re there. The rooms have this practical, almost apartment-like setup that’s perfect if you’re staying more than a night or two, or if you’ve got little ones who need space to spread out. The walls are a bit thin – you’ll hear your neighbors if they’re being rowdy – but the trade-off is decent space and that 7.8 rating starts making sense when you factor in the sheer entertainment value. I mean, where else can you grab breakfast, take a dip, visit some animals, and collapse in your room without moving your car?   The apartment is compact but well planned and the location is really convenient for access of the zoo and park nearby (which is really good if travelling with kids). The local store is really near, if there are necessary some groceries, then it is just a minute away from the apartment. Although I was a bit unfriendly when I had to specify getting-in instructions with the customer service via phone, they were really polite and they managed my questions very well.
  
  What could be improved: It was a bit tricky to get in the apartment, but you just have to follow the instructions very carefully. It can be a bit frustrating at the first moment, but the customer service did a great job to get me to the keys.

  What could be improved: I don't understand how you can rent apartments without preparing them. The room is not cleaned, full of dust, the tools are broken, the floor is worn, the windows are broken. The beds are uncomfortable. Clogged bathroom sink. The glass in the bathroom got limescale. Very bad experience in this apartment. Plus, all kinds of cables are not hidden
