But you know what? They weren’t kidding about any of it. This place on Wróbla Street actually delivers on those promises, especially the “cisza i spokój” (peace and quiet) part. I stayed here last spring when I needed a proper break from the usual hotel chaos, and honestly, it felt more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment than checking into accommodation.

The location in Baluty is pretty smart, actually – you’re close enough to the famous Manufaktura shopping center (hence the name) that you can walk there in about ten minutes, but far enough away that you don’t get the weekend crowds and noise. The apartment itself sits on a lower floor of this residential block, which I was initially skeptical about, but it turns out to be perfect. No elevator waits, no hallway noise from people above you stomping around at midnight. The private enclosed parking was a genuine relief – I mean, finding decent parking in Łódź can be a proper nightmare, especially around the city center. The bathtub they mention? It’s actually a proper soaking tub, not one of those tiny things where you have to choose between your knees or your shoulders being underwater.

What really got me was how thoughtfully set up everything was. The kitchen had actual spices and decent cookware – not the usual collection of mismatched pans and a lonely salt packet. The owners clearly understand what travelers actually need versus what hotels think we need. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly (tested it thoroughly during a work call), and the whole place felt genuinely clean, not just hotel-clean. I loved that I could spread out my stuff without feeling like I was living out of a suitcase. The neighborhood gets properly quiet in the evenings – you’ll hear the occasional tram in the distance, but it’s more soothing than disruptive. During the day, there’s enough local life around that you feel connected to the city rather than stuck in some tourist bubble. The local shops along the street are handy for grabbing groceries, and there’s this little café about two blocks down that does excellent pierogi if you don’t feel like cooking. Only minor thing – the shower pressure could be a bit stronger, but honestly, after soaking in that tub, I didn’t really care. For the price and that 9.3 rating, this place makes total sense if you want to experience Łódź like you actually live there for a few days.
