Liściasta where it meets Al. Włókniarzy, it sits right in the Baluty district, which honestly isn’t the touristy part of Łódź most people talk about. But you know what? That actually works in your favor here. The area’s got this authentic, lived-in feel that gives you a real sense of what daily life is like for locals, and you’re still close enough to catch a tram into the city center without any hassle.

What struck me first when I walked in was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between professional and welcoming – the lobby doesn’t feel sterile like so many business hotels do, but it’s not trying too hard to be trendy either. The staff genuinely seem to know what they’re doing, which you appreciate more when you’ve stayed at places where check-in feels like everyone’s first day on the job. My room was honestly better than I expected for a 3-star place – clean lines, decent desk space if you need to get work done, and the bed was actually comfortable (not always a given, even in pricier places). The bathroom was compact but well-designed, with good water pressure that didn’t fluctuate when someone else in the building turned on a tap.

Here’s the thing about this part of Łódź – it gets quiet in the evenings, which means you’ll actually sleep well without needing earplugs. During the day there’s enough activity to feel connected to the city, but it’s not the kind of busy that makes you stressed just walking outside. I found a decent pierogi spot just a few blocks away that clearly caters to locals rather than tourists, and there’s a small market nearby where you can grab basics without hunting around. The hotel itself handles parking reasonably well – not fancy, but functional and you don’t have to circle the block looking for a spot. What really sealed it for me was the breakfast setup; nothing elaborate, but they had proper coffee and fresh bread, plus the staff seemed to actually care that everything stayed stocked and warm rather than just going through the motions. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the management pays attention to details without making a big show of it, which explains that 8.8 rating. For business travelers or anyone who wants a solid base in Łódź without paying tourist-trap prices, it hits the mark.

  Location for short stay was perfect for us. Breakfast was OK, staff was helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
