You know what surprised me most about MYE Apartments – Ilumino? Walking up to this place on Kilińskiego Street, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the outside – it’s pretty understated in that typical Polish apartment building way. But step inside and there’s this whole different vibe, sort of modern and clean-lined without being sterile. The apartments actually feel like someone’s carefully curated home rather than just another cookie-cutter rental space.

I mean, location-wise, you’re right in Śródmieście which is perfect if you want to actually experience Łódź instead of just passing through. You can walk to Piotrkowska Street in about ten minutes (trust me, I timed it), and that’s where all the good stuff happens – the bars, restaurants, that whole pedestrian scene that locals are genuinely proud of. What I really appreciated though was how quiet it stays at night, even being so central. The building sits back from the main traffic flow just enough that you’re not dealing with constant street noise, but you’re still close enough to grab coffee or dinner without planning some major expedition. The tram connections are solid too – there’s a stop practically around the corner that’ll get you to the train station or out to some of the cultural districts without any hassle.

Honestly, the apartments themselves hit that sweet spot between having everything you need and not feeling cluttered with unnecessary stuff. The kitchens are actually functional (I made breakfast several mornings and didn’t have to hunt around for basic utensils), and the whole setup feels thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together. Even small touches like decent lighting and proper storage space – you know, the kind of details that only matter when they’re missing. The WiFi was reliable, which matters more than it should when you’re trying to navigate a new city or keep up with work. I stayed during shoulder season and check-in was smooth, though I’d imagine summer might get busier given how well-rated this place is. The staff seemed to know their neighborhood too, which is refreshing when you want recommendations that go beyond the obvious tourist spots. Really, for a 3-star spot, it punches above its weight in terms of comfort and that hard-to-define feeling of actually enjoying where you’re staying rather than just tolerating it.

  Bardzo przestronne wygodne mieszkanie dla 2-4 osób. Podstawowe kosmetyki, suszarka, duży komplet ręczników. Bez zastrzeżeń jeśli chodzi o czystość w takich obiektach. W kuchni zmywarka i pełen komplet naczyń więc można coś ugotować czy zrobić śniadanie. Loka wygodne. Telewizor, wygodny narożnik, na balkonie stolik i krzesełko jeśli ktoś chce np. zapalić papierosa.
