Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of apartments in European cities, but Manufaktura Urban Oasis Apartment honestly surprised me in the best way possible. When I first pulled up to Rybna 7B in the Baluty district, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical – this isn’t exactly the postcard-pretty part of Łódź that most tourists see. But you know what? That’s exactly what makes this place special.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, not like those sterile corporate rentals you usually get. I mean, there are real books on the shelves, decent coffee in the kitchen, and the kind of thoughtful touches that make you feel at home rather than just passing through. The space is genuinely comfortable – not huge, but cleverly designed so it doesn’t feel cramped. What really got me was how quiet it stays at night, which is pretty remarkable considering you’re right in the middle of the city. The windows are proper double-glazed, so even when there’s some street activity (which there usually isn’t much of in this neighborhood anyway), you sleep like a baby.

Here’s the thing about staying in Baluty that most guidebooks won’t tell you – you’re actually in this fascinating spot where old industrial Łódź meets the modern city. The famous Manufaktura shopping center is literally a ten-minute walk away, but honestly, I found myself spending more time exploring the smaller streets around the apartment. There’s this little bakery two blocks down that opens ridiculously early and makes these incredible pączki, and the tram connections are actually better than from some of the more central hotels I looked at. Getting to Piotrkowska Street takes maybe fifteen minutes by foot, twenty if you’re stopping to look at the amazing street art along the way. The area feels safe – I walked around plenty at night without any concerns – and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels more residential than touristy. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s driven in Polish cities will appreciate. The 9.4 rating this place has makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be fancy or Instagram-perfect, it’s just genuinely good at what it does.

  Все дуже сподобалося. Чисто, затишно. Чудова свіжа постіль, зручні дивани для відпочинку, постіль відпрасована, новенька, рушники в ідеальному стані. На кухні все необхідне начиння.
