I ended up grabbing groceries from the nearby shops (there’s a decent selection within walking distance) and making breakfast a couple of mornings, which honestly saved me some cash and felt more authentic than hotel dining anyway. The windows let in good natural light during the day, and at night it’s surprisingly quiet considering you’re right in the urban core – though you’ll still hear the occasional tram, which I kind of liked as background city sounds.

Location-wise, you’re well-positioned to explore both the famous Manufaktura complex and the grittier, more authentic parts of Łódź that tourists sometimes miss. It’s maybe a 15-minute walk to the main shopping and entertainment area, but you’re also close enough to the residential streets where you can see how locals actually live. The tram connections are solid from here – you can get pretty much anywhere in the city without too much hassle. Parking isn’t terrible if you’re driving, though like most European city centers, it’s easier to just walk or use public transport once you’re settled in.

Look, this isn’t going to be the fanciest place you’ve ever stayed, but that 9 rating isn’t an accident. It’s one of those spots that just gets the basics really right and throws in enough thoughtful touches to make you feel like you’re experiencing Łódź as more than just a tourist passing through. If you’re the type who wants to feel connected to a place rather than insulated from it, this studio hits that sweet spot perfectly.
