I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Manufaktura III & City Centre Free Parking Klimatyzacja, I thought it was some kind of industrial complex. But you know what? This place turned out to be exactly what I needed during my stay in Łódź, and that ridiculously long name actually tells you everything important right upfront.

The location on Lutomierska is pretty brilliant, actually. You’re in the Baluty district, which might not sound glamorous, but it’s this perfect sweet spot where you can walk to the famous Manufaktura shopping center (hence the name) without dealing with all the tourist chaos right at your doorstep. I mean, free parking in a European city center – that’s practically unheard of these days. The klimatyzacja (air conditioning) might seem obvious to mention in the name, but honestly, after sweating through a few Polish summers in places without it, you’ll appreciate that they’re being upfront about it. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel – well, if your friend has really good taste and keeps everything spotless. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’re there because it’s all the little things done right. The check-in was smooth, the space actually looked like the photos (rare!), and everything worked properly. No mysterious stains, no broken fixtures, no “charming” quirks that drive you crazy at 2 AM.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re close to everything. During the day you’ll hear some street noise from Lutomierska, but it’s not the kind of traffic that keeps you awake – more like gentle city background sounds. The air conditioning was a godsend during my July visit, and unlike some places where it sounds like a helicopter landing, this one actually lets you sleep. Walking to the old textile factories turned shopping areas takes maybe ten minutes, and you’ll pass some decent cafes and restaurants that aren’t tourist traps. The area has this interesting mix of old industrial architecture and newer developments, so it feels authentically Łódź without being run-down. For a 3-star place, it punches way above its weight – I’ve stayed in 4-star hotels that left me more frustrated than this apartment did. If you’re the type who values practical stuff like reliable wifi, good water pressure, and not having to circle the block seventeen times looking for parking, this place gets it right.

  Зупинялися на одну добу — і залишилися дуже задоволені! Житло чисте, охайне, зі свіжою постільною білизною та всім необхідним для комфортного перебування. Інтер’єр затишний, приємна атмосфера, все як на фото.

  Free underground parking. Comfortable beds. We asked for separate pillows and duvets and the personel gave them.
  
  What could be improved: Super uncomfortable pillows! There was a ventilation working all day and night in the living room. It made noise. Also there was no toilet paper. When contacted the personel, said they will bring it. Still we did not get it untill the end of our stay.
