The location on Drewnowska really surprised me. I mean, you’re literally a stone’s throw from the massive Manufaktura shopping and entertainment complex (hence the name, obviously), but the street itself is way quieter than you’d expect. The building has that solid, no-nonsense Polish architecture – not Instagram-pretty, but the kind of place where everything actually works properly. And honestly, after staying in some of those “charming” old buildings where the shower barely drizzles and the WiFi cuts out every ten minutes, I appreciate functional. The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, not like a sterile hotel room. There’s proper kitchen equipment – I’m talking real knives and a coffee maker that doesn’t look like it came from a gas station. The bed is surprisingly comfortable (firm but not concrete-hard), and here’s a detail that matters more than you’d think: the windows are well-insulated. Łódź can get pretty lively at night, especially near Manufaktura, but I slept like a baby.

What really won me over though was how easy everything was. Check-in was smooth – no standing around waiting for someone to show up with keys – and the whole booking process felt refreshingly straightforward. The 9.2 rating isn’t just inflated reviews from people’s cousins; it’s legitimate. You’re close enough to walk to all the main attractions in the Baluty district, but far enough that you’re not dealing with constant foot traffic under your window. Plus, if you’re driving, parking isn’t the nightmare it can be in other parts of the city. I spent most evenings just wandering around the area – there’s this great little stretch of cafes and bars that tourists often miss because they stick too close to the main shopping center. The tram connections are solid too, so getting to Piotrkowska Street or the other central areas is actually pretty painless. Look, this isn’t going to be the fanciest place you’ve ever stayed, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. It’s clean, comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced for what you get. After a long day exploring Łódź’s street art scene or getting lost in the converted factory spaces, having a reliable place to crash makes all the difference.

  Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Zaraz na przeciwko budynku znajduje się Manufaktura. Spacerem blisko do ulicy Piotrkowskiej. Spokojna okolica. W mieszkaniu wszystko, czego potrzeba. Czystość na przyzwoitym poziomie. Informacje od właściciela na temat dostępu do budynku i mieszkania szczegółowe 🙂 cena po zniżkach bardzo zadowalająca 🙂

  What could be improved: Mam drobną uwagę do wifi. Otrzymane hasło przy meldunku jest błedne. Prawdopodobnie jakiś gość zmienił hasło. A router znajduje się w szafie, na samym dole, za półkami. Ale pobyt uważam że bardzo udany i w przyszłości będę celował w ten apartament.
